AI GeneratedCharlie Belcher visits Two Crow Coffee in Dunedin, a community-focused coffee house located in a historic 1920s Sears and Roebuck catalog home. Owned by Lisa and Jason, the shop offers a wide variety of specialty beverages and fresh breakfast options while serving as a \"third space\" for local residents to gather and connect.
Happy Friday to you. I'm Charlie Belcher coming to you from Dunedin today from Two Crow Coffee.
You look at it, T-U-K-R-O, you're like, what is that? It's two crows. That's it,
to play off two crows. And it is a coffee house, literally an old Sears and Roebuck house in Dunedin
that is now a community gathering place. We've seen them come in all day so far. Lisa and her
husband Jason back there. He's busy at work. Lisa's taking a break to come over here and talk to us.
Own the place. You've owned this place for coming up on your two-year anniversary of owners, yes?
That is correct, yes. Very excited. Two years next week, actually. Nice, congratulations.
Let's start with the house. The house is kind of a character in and of itself.
This is such a gem in Dunedin, as you can see. It is a little old house out of the 1920s.
It is out of a Sears and Roebuck catalog, so someone back in the day ordered this house and
built it. So you think in 2026 we'd be ordering houses from Amazon, but no, no, we were doing it
in the 40s. Absolutely, and it's still standing strong. Now let's talk about what you have to
offer. Coffees, teas? Yes, all of the above. So we have specialty coffee here. We have lattes. We can
do them iced or hot. We have teas. We also do those iced or hot. And we have them caffeinated
or non-caffeinated. We also have a wide breakfast array, everything from gluten-free items to vegan
items. We have breakfast sandwiches. Yeah, the case looks great over here with all the fresh
baked goods and all the croissant sandwiches to some pastries and cookies. Yeah, we actually come
in around 5 a.m. We bake fresh every morning, so we have something nice, warm, and fresh for
everyone to enjoy. And I love what a community gathering place this is. There's a run club I've
seen come and go. People come in and you're like, you're calling them by name, and it just feels
like that small town coffee shop gathering place. Absolutely, that's what my husband and I truly
enjoy about this. It doesn't feel like work. We're providing a third space for our community. It's
become a central hub for Danita. And then, oh, by the way, upstairs is an Airbnb. There's a bedroom,
living room, kitchen, a little space that you rent out throughout the year. Oh, and there's more.
So, yes, this is a very small, small, tiny little house, but it's very efficient. So,
upstairs we actually have an Airbnb that we rent out all year round. You call that the Crow House?
Yes, that is the Crow House. It's really cute. So, anybody wants a staycation in Dunedin,
but you want to be close to coffee, you don't get any closer than upstairs from here. You walk
right down and you enjoy your free cup of coffee that's included in your stay. Yeah, you got me a
free coffee. It is 2CrowCoffeeDunedin.com? That is correct. 2Crow, T-U-K-R-O, 2CrowCoffeeDunedin.com.
In Dunedin, Charlie Belcher, FOX 13 News.
