Rather than depicting the chaos of war, the music lingers on its emotional aftermath—empty palace halls, autumn rain, distant temple bells, silent mountain roads, fading lanterns, and the final moments before two lovers are separated forever.

Featuring guqin, guzheng, xiao, dizi, pipa, erhu, sheng, konghou, bianzhong bells, together with autumn wind, gentle rain, flowing streams, distant horse bells, temple bells, rustling leaves, and mountain mist, this collection unfolds like the latter half of an ancient handscroll, inviting listeners into a world where beauty quietly yields to memory.
