Bulk Butter; Spoon it, dip it, spread it

Okay, folks, you know being healthy is all about balance. Yeah, and this bulk butter is gonna put you in balance with your happiness Apparently Emily Kolderman founder of bulk butter is here with a few of their flavors First of all, we have to get to how this all started I know Donovan and you were talking but we've met before I've tried your bulk butter. It's delicious. Watch out kind of dangerous actually But this all started because why yeah, so I was a former competitive bodybuilder I spent years in the fitness space And then I was competing and working a full-time corporate job not super fulfilling And then I wanted to find a better for you sweet treat being in the fitness industry for years And then competing you start to see foods as very black and white. So I wanted to challenge myself To find a treat that's you know, not terribly bad for you won't completely derail you from your goals but also something that you can enjoy so then I ended up buying a Nut grinder off of Facebook market and would make my own natural peanut butter and here we are So I've never had this this is all new to me. But Brian like I was saying things your praises what does it taste like I imagine there are different types of Bulk butter flavor wise. Yeah. So what are we looking at today? So right now we have our top four flavors here They all start with this classic peanut butter, which is just straight peanuts. No sugars salt oils emulsifiers just peanuts Okay, and then what we do is we blend it with chocolate and then add in all different fun stuff So for example, our Trixie sticks has Ghirardelli caramel sauce pieces caramel bits So it's basically like your favorite treat jarred up into a jar of peanut butter I'm zero to 100 you guys like I can't eat in moderation if I eat something that's good. I keep eating it That's a problem. I have to be the person that asks you this. How is this remotely good for you? Yeah Yeah, so most of your classic peanut butters that you find at the grocery store are Filled with emulsifiers and oils and all that stuff to kind of preserve it and allow for it to sit on the shelf for years Whereas ours is just the straight peanuts so you don't have all that loaded oils or sugars and fillers that your classic peanut butters do have and then when you have a little sweet treat treat or Sweet tooth and want like a little treat You can just take a spoonful right out and it kind of curbs that sweet tooth without completely going off the rails You don't need a lot of scoops there. Apparently not and you're good to go, but I'm curious. How has this been such a huge benefit in the fitness community? Yeah. Yeah, so For me, I like to pre or post workout grab a rice cake and kind of layer on I don't know. My favorite is the monster cookie So I'll take a layer of the monster cookie peanut butter put it on a rice cake with some flaky salt and the healthy fats It's great for you. Okay, there's a good source of protein as well in these Everyone I think is between six to eight grams of protein. So it's very satiating and in the filling. Yes Look it was only in my I guess cabin. I don't like to eat alone cramp It was only in my cabinet cupboard for like three days Somebody who loves like natural peanut butter when I'm just the peanuts I feel like the flavor is there Yeah, it's just that we're so used to the opposite Correct, which we've been kind of taught to enjoy all those things with all right stuff Yeah, and it's actually kind of fun because when we do what we do a lot of markets and in-person events to get that customer Feedback. Yeah, the first thing that people say is it tastes like peanuts. It tastes like peanut butter It's how peanut butter should taste. So this one that you guys are trying is our birthday birthday cake So there's the natural peanut butter and then there's marshmallow fluff that is wrinkles Little cake balls and this is not just local you've taken off you've gone Not dare. I say national. I mean you have a couple stories. You're in where you're in. We're in Shields Meyer We're launching in Sendik's beginning of August Yeah, what men so what does my say I was gonna say She liked the peanut butter Yeah, everyone loves it and it's really fun. I have a two and a half year old Niece and she loves it. My grandma loves it So it's really fun for people of all ages to be Able to enjoy this you are a testament to the fact that there is like purpose in the pivot Yeah, you started a corporate level job. You found something you love and you just went after it What is your advice to people watching right now who are kind of scared to make that next move? But they know they want to yeah So I just kind of went for it's one of those things if you think about it for too much and all the you know What ifs you're you're gonna stop yourself? so it's one of those things that you just need to dive on into and go for it and take that leap of faith and I'm someone if I'm gonna do something just the same as bodybuilding I'm not really knowing much about the sport. You just go into it and you give it your all and You find that it's very rewarding and now you've gone national Twixie sticks you have the birthday cake pop you have the classic peanut you said the top sellers are there There are more we have we have other ones online. We have an Oreo flavor, which is super delicious For our people that are gluten-free We have a white classic a chocolate and then we love to hear people's feedback and what other flavors that they would love to enjoy so we're hopefully coming out with a couple others and then we have some seasonal flavors like a Halloween flavor and a Valentine's flavor that We drop around Destroys ants on the log, which would be There's no wrong way to enjoy it.
