The great king just named himself the incarnate sun god. His son then changes the state religion and throws the country into chaos. His grandson, the infamous King Tut, starts to reverse it before mysteriously dying. Then, the king of the Hittites recieves a letter: the king is dead, send me one of your sons and he will be king. A prince is dispatched to Egypt, but never arrives. This is the story of the Amarna period, a necessary step before getting to the ascension of Horemheb, the first pharaoh to give us written law.
