Video Summary
AI GeneratedThis video provides a tutorial for a deceptive card trick where spectators appear to use intuition to deal themselves a perfect royal flush. The performer demonstrates the effect, explains the secret setup using face-blank cards, and provides a step-by-step guide on how to execute the routine and reveal the climax.
Hello again everybody. Today I'm going to be showing you a really easy card trick
and tutorial that should blow people away. We're going to test the spectator's power of intuition
to create the best possible poker hand. So we can perform this for one spectator
up to five spectators and what we're going to have them do is let me give the cards a little mix
and we'll give the cards a little cut and now I'm going to be dealing the cards out.
So I'm going to ask the spectators if it's one spectator I'll tell them that they can say
spectator 3 says stop. If it's five spectators I'm going to ask them to each call out stop
whenever they like and when they do so we're going to cap the pile with their card.
So I continue dealing and let's say spectator 3 calls out stop right over here. I continue
dealing and spectator 4 calls out stop right over here. Continue dealing and now spectator 1 says
stop. Continue dealing and spectator 5 calls out stop and continue dealing and now spectator 2
calls stop. So we'll stack the piles and now we'll recap. All five spectators had a free choice or
one spectator had a free choice to stop me wherever they wanted. Let's take a look and see.
Spectator number five stopped me face to face with this card. Spectator number four stopped me
face to face with this card. Spectator number three stopped me face to face with this card.
Spectator two stopped me face to face with this card and let's make some room over here and
spectator number one stopped me face to face with this card right over here. So let's take a look
and see how good your power of intuition is. Spectator number one stopped me at the ten of
spades. Number two the jack of spades. Number three the queen of spades. Number four the king of spades
and spectator number five stopped me at the ace of spades. A perfect royal flush. But my intuition
was pretty good also because I knew spectator number one would stop me at the ten of spades.
Number two the jack of spades. Number three the queen of spades. Number four the king of spades
and spectator number five the ace of spades. Okay this trick was sent to me by Ian McCurgy. There's
a link below in the description for his effect. What I love about this is its simplicity and how
deceptive it really is. What I used were regular face blank back playing cards. If you do not have
those you could just use blank face playing cards and use double stick tape and stick the faces on
or if you don't have those you can just use regular pieces of paper and we'll do that for
the tutorial. So number one has the ten of spades behind it. Number two has the jack of spades behind
it. Number three the queen of spades. Number four the king of spades and number five the ace of
spades. The setup goes as follows. We're going to take a random card on top of the deck and we're
going to follow that by the ten jack queen and king of spades or of any suit that you like and
then the ace of spades goes on the bottom of the deck. So that's your setup. Random card ten jack
queen king and ace on the bottom. We're now ready to begin. We're going to set out these cards one
two three four and five. Now when we begin we're going to start dealing with number one. This is
your random card and we're not going to let the spectator stop us because we're going to be setting
down the ten the jack the queen and the king. Now as we're dealing slowly we're going to explain to
them that we're going to use their power of intuition and see if they can stop us at a good
poker hand and it's very important that spectator number one stops us and the card goes on his pile.
Number two this is their piles right here. They're free to stop us whenever they want and place their
card on top of the pile or we'll do that. So now I continue dealing and let's say spectator number
says stop right over here just continue dealing spectator number four says stop continue dealing
spectator two says stop continue dealing spectator number one says stop and continue dealing and you
want to make sure they don't go all the way down to the bottom card because that's the ace of spades.
You continue dealing and they say stop spectator number five. So now the way I'm stacking the cards
the ace of spades is going on top of the five the king of spades is going on top of the four
the queen of spades is going on top of the three the jack of spades is going on top of the two
and the ten of spades is going on top of the one. That's it now you can spread the cards out
and you can recap and pretty much you take the card that's face to face with their selection
so there's the five and it's the this card right over here the four with this card right over here
the three with this card right over here the two with this card right over here and the one
with this card right over here get rid of the rest of the cards and now you can reveal that
spectator number one found the ten of spades spectator number two found the jack three found
the queen four found the king five found the ace of spades and that in itself is amazing but then
the kicker is you say not only is your power intuition good but so is mine because I knew
spectator number one would find the ten spectator number two would find the jack spectator number
three would find the queen spectator number four would find the king and spectator number five
would find the ace of spades. So let me know what you guys think I think this is a really easy trick
it will blow people away it's not easy to figure out although it does look like a very simple card
it's very deceptive. Now on to the results and the deck giveaway. Here are the winners of the
