Spain wins the FIFA World Cup over Argentina

All right, let's talk about the FIFA World Cup final where Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in overtime. FOX26's Jillian Hartman was at FanFest in Houston as the tournament wrapped up. It was a pack that came out to watch Argentina take on Spain. It was a very exciting game. We caught up with some fans about the final match, their favorite memories from the tournament, and what it was like to experience the World Cup here in Houston. Two best teams of the World Cup and we cannot expect a better final than that. I think it's coming to FIFA Fest and letting my kids enjoy this moment. We're originally from Nigeria and we love soccer. Oh, I think it's been great. Like, it's been so much like everyone's sort of like uniting together for this one event, so it's been really nice. My favorite memory is my son was able to go to one of the games as a kid. It was nerve-wracking. I couldn't believe my eyes. But the World Cup, because it gets us all united and I get to, I have one of the best experiences of my, of a lifetime. It's amazing, amazing. Houston, Houston is the best. It's down, baby. Fans tell me having the World Cup in Houston has been an unforgettable experience, a once-in-a-lifetime event, and say it's bittersweet that the World Cup has come 26 years.
