Xianrendong Village — A hidden paradise among the karst landscapes of Wenshan, Yunnan, China

Xianrendong Village is hidden among the mountains and lakes of Puzhehei, Qiubei County, Wenshan, Yunnan Province. It is a traditional village of the Sani people of the Yi ethnic group, surrounded by lakes, karst peaks, and beautiful lotus flowers.

Built beside the lake, the village has green mountains behind it and clear waters in front. It feels like a paradise naturally created within the magnificent karst landscape.

The village gets its name from the nearby natural cave “Xianrendong” (Immortal Cave). The unique karst terrain combines lakes, isolated peaks, caves, and farmland, creating a picturesque water village scene.

Every summer, vast lotus fields burst into bloom. The blue waters reflect the green mountains, while small boats travel through the sea of flowers, revealing the peaceful beauty of rural southeastern Yunnan.
