How to make extra money for the holidays. So this is the part two of a part three series on holiday income and how to make money, how to save some money while you're making it. Because you can put some money away and have a good jumpstart into 2023. So the three things we're going to talk about specifically is how do you make more money? Part two, we're going to talk about how to make extra cash, like a little bit of a side hustle. And there's so many ways that on that one, you may want to continue this for all the way into 2023 and just keep making money. And then third, I want to talk about how do you save some money? How do you put some away? So you have a new pattern of make invest money instead of make spend as you move into 2023. So let's begin. So let's talk about other ways to make money. So there's tons of holiday ways, right? But let's talk about your home. What could you eBay, right? To just do a little holiday cleansing. You could eBay, you can put up a Shopify store. So I have a lot of clients who do custom promotional products. What a great thing for the holiday. You know, you could be part of the whole ugly sweater thing, sell ugly sweaters to your family members, put their names on them, make Christmas stockings for people. What else could you do to side hustle in the holidays and make extra money? So again, I want you to make a task list for you and all your children. I want you to put prices of what you want to make and how you could do it. Another category we haven't talked a lot about is Amazon. Amazon still is a world leader in helping people make money. Now there's specific things, and you're probably a little behind the eight ball if you want to drop ship, but you still could go out and find some items that are drop shippable. As long as you can get them in for the holiday or actually say you're going to buy them for the holiday, they'll receive them in January. So you can Amazon, you can be an affiliate marketer. You could join direct sales companies. And like I love send out cards. I'm a huge, huge fan. And the top people are there. It's a good starter for them to get in connection with you as you look at 2023 and how you want to make some money. So another option to make some money for those of you that are creative and love to design things and customize things is Etsy. You could start your own store. There are people making jewelry. There are people beading. There are people painting. All sorts of custom things are made and sold out there. So lots of ways for you to make money. And again, a lot of you clean out your closets before the holidays, right? Go out and Poshmark and put them out on online stores, put them on eBay, put them in your local Facebook marketplace. The side hustles that I really like that I know people have made well into five figures, not six, but five, like 10,000 or more is putting up and down Christmas lights, shoveling snow. Like what else could you do? Those of you that are younger, that are watching, you could babysit. Like what a great gift. Let mom and dad go have, or your partner go have, you know, a holiday dinner. Babysit for New Year's. Do you know how much money is spent on New Year's for babysitting? So parents can go out and have a rock and roll party, host a party, cater. And there's so many things I could just keep brainstorming. So I want you to make a list. What do you want to do to make more money for you and your family? And for some of you, I do want you thinking, how could you continue this as a side hustle? As you go into next year, what's the first holiday up? Then you got Valentine's day. Then you have St. Patty's day. Like every month has a theme. I have a client who actually does themed like decorations and she makes millions selling all this stuff on the internet. So she's on lots of stores, lots of avenues, and you all buy her. So you can do a lot of this as well. So as you're making this money, let's talk about how you're going to make it. Even though this might just be a holiday thing, you need to be living corporate life. So living corporate life means at least somebody in the family have an LLC, an S-corp, a C-corp.
