Yeah, I mean, just make more birdies.
I feel like I'm hitting the ball the way I need to in order to score.
It's just, I feel like I'm playing a lot better than my score.
So that part's frustrating, but knowing my game's in a good spot is a good thing.
There's been times this year where I feel like I was getting a lot out of my game.
And this week feels like a week in which I'm playing a lot better than my score.
So a little bit frustrating, but if I continue to do this and
wholesome putts tomorrow, I can shoot at a really low round and move my way up.
Sam's a guy that's been knocked on the door a few times this year and
hadn't been able to get it done.
But it's just a matter of continuing to give yourself opportunities,
continue to knock on the door.
Sam's a guy that's been on the last few Ryder cups,
the last few Presidents Cup, and he's a guy that I see all the time.
He's got a ton of talent, and for me, it's just a matter of time until he gets it
done one of these, and like I said,
just continue to give yourself the opportunity to continue to knock on the door.
So no, I haven't seen a huge change in his game or anything like that.
I think sometimes you just need to continue to put yourself in these
situations, and he's definitely got the talent.
Yeah, it was a bit of a disappointing finish.
I felt like I played really, really well today, and
it kind of just flipped like the opposite where I've had strong finishes the first
few days, just didn't materialize today.
But the course isn't easy, and it's not like there's any gimme birdies out there.
So it was a good day.
I shot on the par.
It's easy to think that you should be two or three better or what.
It's easy to think that, and I think you think that no matter what you've done on
any given day anyway.
So we'll see where the leaders finish up, but it was a really enjoyable day.
The best way I can explain it,
it was so intense that without meaning any disrespect to England,
I'm glad England didn't win that game because I would have been having a heck
of a three days with the fans if they played Spain in the final.
But you can hear it constantly, no matter where he goes,
this constant unconditional support.
And the best part is they cheer him on, but
they're respectful to everybody else playing, and
that's what makes it so fun for all of us.
No matter how late in the round and how bad things get,
everybody's almost cheering for everybody in the group.
I've felt plenty of support, even playing with Tommy, and it's been a lot of fun.
I can't imagine what it's like to play what's most likely his favorite event
of the year at home, because I get a small pinch of what it feels like to play,
when I play in the Spanish Open.
And if there was a major in Spain, I can only imagine.
