Argentina, Spain prep for final FIFA showdown

Let's talk the World Cup now. We know that the match was recently held this week. It was Match Day Atlanta. We held our final match this past week, and we now know who's advanced to the finals. That is Spain and Argentina. France and England have both entered the bronze match after losing their respective semifinals. And although it's not the outcome either country wanted, there is both prize money and the Golden Boot race at stake. And it's also the last game for France's head coach. He's stepping down after nearly 15 years. So Fox News correspondent, Caroline Elliott has more from New Jersey. Caroline, thanks so much for joining us to talk about the World Cup. It's the last weekend. What can fans expect tomorrow? Yeah, Jaz, and well sadly, like you said, this is the last weekend of the World Cup. We know this is a country that has really fallen in love with this sport during this tournament, but it's now coming to an end. We do have an exciting lineup though for today and tomorrow, starting with today. Like you said, we will see the bronze match. We'll see England and France battle it out for third place in Miami, but all of the attention is on tomorrow, the championship game right here behind us happening in New Jersey. So we'll see Argentina and Spain battle it out for the final. We have a lot of people asking what will happen at this point. We are seeing that Argentina is favored to win, but we'll have to see what happens. If we've learned anything during this World Cup, Jasmine, I think it's that we've learned anything can happen. So we'll have to see. Absolutely, we have seen some historic matches here and many underground or underdogs take the forefront. But like you said, Argentina is a fan favorite here. We are also expecting some big names in the game. So let's talk about that. Yeah, so the White House has confirmed that President Trump will be in attendance for the championship game as well as Spain's royal family. So as far as security goes, we're talking about the highest security level possible at this event tomorrow. We're seeing reportedly 8,000 officers will be here on the ground between federal, local and state agencies. So we're talking about a really high security event here and not to mention, we talked about the dignitaries, but not to mention the halftime performance. We'll see Shakira, Madonna and Justin Bieber performing. So we're talking about a lot of big names here and a lot of protection going into this event tomorrow. Oh, that's gonna be a fun show there. Shakira, Justin Bieber, sounds like a lot of fun. Of course, like you said, we will see a lot of security there. Let's talk about ticket prices. So during our match here, our last match between Argentina and England, people were paying thousands of dollars to see that match. What can people expect for tomorrow? What are those prices looking like? Okay, so Jasmine, to get into that game, you're going to have to pay more money than I could ever pay. But let me tell you, the cheapest tickets go for $8,000 if that tells you anything at all, but they're going as high as $20,000. So not pocket change we're talking about, but when you think about who would pay for that, well, apparently 80,000 people would pay those prices because that's what we're expecting in that stadium behind us, Jasmine. Wow, Caroline, that is a lot of money. Thanks so much for joining us here on Fox Local. We'll check in with you a little later this morning. A lot of excitement.
