This video breaks down an incredibly fast series of ejections occurring just three pitches into a baseball game. Following a controversial check-swing call on Fernando Tatis Jr., tensions escalated quickly between the dugout and the umpiring crew, resulting in both the infield coach and the manager being tossed from the game almost immediately after it began.
The quickest ejection I've ever done a video on, probably. I didn't check, but the game hasn't
even started. This one's brought to you by SeatGeek, and the first pitch has no action. It's
just a strike. But the second pitch has a check swing, and they say, yes, he went. And Tatis is
thinking, I don't think I did. The bench says, that's not even close. Let's go. So they're on
the up. Now umpire says, hey, hey, let's knock it off. Let's knock it off. We're two pitches in.
Can't start like that. He says, it's not even close. We're talking to him. He's like, I know,
enough. Stop talking to anyone. All right. Here's the replay. What do you got at home? Did he go?
Yeah. What do you think? I think he went. That's Ben May. He made the call. Ben May. Also umpire
of my favorite video I've ever done when he ejected someone on the bench and said, I don't
know who I ejected. Just choose someone. They got to go. Who was it? Whoever it was. You don't even
know who you tossed? A little bit of an unsung legend in the breakdown world. The third pitch
is a ball low. No action, except the bench is still upset about the check swing. That's not
a ******* swing. They're mumbling. They're still mad. They're still yelling at the ump over there.
The home plate umpire. You're going to hear him just say, cut it out. They're trying to stay. So
cut it out. Now this guy, you're going to see this head pop up right there. That's Ryan Goins,
the infield instructor. He was the one yelling. He got told to knock it off and he responds to
the ump. Turn your ******* ears off. If you don't want to hear me, get out of here. I don't give a
****. Ryan Goins, turn the ears off. Turn your ******* ears off. It's that simple. You turn them
off. Then you can't hear me. I'm always saying the opposite to my kids saying, turn your ears on.
What are you deaf? It's too much. It's too much. It's too much. We're three pitches in. Stamina
comes out. Why? Why? It's so early. What are you doing? Right away? We're allowed to talk to you
guys. He's like, actually, no, listen, we warned you many times. Many times? That is too much,
Nick. Come on. No, that's too much. I told you. We're three pitches in. It's crazy. It's just,
that's not right. It's not right. I know, but I mean, we're taught. Do you see that swing?
That wasn't even close. Are you arguing? I'm not arguing with them. That was not even close.
All right. You're gone. Whoa. Hey, I didn't do any, I didn't even, I didn't say anything.
Are you kidding me? That's so ******* weak. You're still arguing twice. No. Yes. I did
not say anything. It wasn't even close twice. Yeah. That's how I do it. Oh, that's not good
enough. Nick, that's awful. And Nick goes behind the plate. He had to teach him what arguing is
stamina. It was like, I did not argue. I just told him he got the call wrong.
And umpire's like, we call that arguing here on our side of the line.
That's arguing the call. So that's the big misunderstanding here. And then he's going to
let the Trip Gibson know. He says, that's bullshit, Trip. I didn't even say anything right there.
Not nothing. Puts the pad away. Puts the pen away. Big thank you to Dylan Sprouse for recommending
this. Would have slid right by, but an ejection three pitches into the game. Two coaches.
Well, a coach and the manager, three pitches in against the Dodgers. That's crazy. You good?
Yeah. Just been waiting for you. So stamina's got to go. He got all dressed up, showered,
pulled the pants up. The socks are tight. Started chewing the gum and now all for nothing. But the
game continues. Dave Roberts lets him know, keep going, keep going, keep going. Okay. Skip. That
was my plan. Strike three. Get some. Great way to start the game. You sit down, Tatis. You get
rid of their main decision maker and their infield coach. Thank you very much to Dylan Sprouse,
to you guys at home, to everybody that has turned this from a hobby into a company. We have
so many employees, so much creation of content. Said that sentence wrong. Landed it though.
