See The Odyssey-Inspired Gift Today Gives Anne Hathaway

It is almost over Christopher Nolan's epic new film the odyssey of his theaters tomorrow and before it does we're catching up with more of its stars and have to win Tom Holland player, a mother and son, the Queen and Prince of Ithaca holding out hope for the return of Odysseus. And Tom welcome back. Thank you for the group and talking about it for a while now you can't even you can't get a ticket to an IMAX theater into like late August to see the thing you've been all around the world promoting it here we are just a few hours away from it about to be unveiled to the world, what are the emotions how we feeling right now. I don't know that I've caught up with my emotions and how are you feeling, I am just kind of in this state of delirium I I'm so excited, I cannot believe that is finally here. I remember getting the call to be a part of this experience like it was yesterday and the fact that this whole period of time has happened that we have the experience the movie is made. The reviews are out and the movie comes out tomorrow. I really I I don't even know how to explain how I feel right I that that's kind of where I'm at with it too and then at the same time, I'm just so happy for everybody else like it's easier to process your happiness for other people like obviously Chris this is a huge achievement. Emma Thomas are producer because everything that's on screen she was like the brain in the organizing power behind getting it there and then that I think we're all just like going out of our minds for how happy we are from that. Well, it's perhaps you've already heard and read the review so far. They've been pretty fantastic you work with Christopher Nolan 3 times so you sort of knew what to expect. You would think haha well, I mean a little bit a little bit I know I knew certain you know kind of the what was expected okay, and I knew kind of the rhythm of the set. I would describe that the rhythm of the so what does that mean. It's it's it's really pro you know like during our sequence which is the interior of the Ithacan Palace for a month you had hundreds of people standing on their marks ready to go 7 a.m. every single day you could hear a pin drop everybody was focused and usually by 7.5 we were filming. So he's consistent, he's regimented but getting back to the you know the expertise of it all. Nobody was an expert on this one because it was the first time a film had ever been shot entirely on I'm asked which meant that we had there are no veterans on set everybody was starting at square one which meant that we really had to be there for each other in this in a way that went even deeper than a usual film. This is your first time working with it. Did you get some tips to call anyone to just say what can I expect from this Nolan guy. Well, you know, I spoke with Robert at length before I started started the movie hasn't know with Downey over that and I. He questioned that yeah, I don't know what I was really lucky, I was lucky that I had and we had some of our first days together is lucky that I had Matt and Chris is not just directing you know, he's so helpful, he's so kind and one of the things I love and Matt has said this while we've been on tour that every movie that he has made has led to this moment and the same for Chris so for me as a young actor to get to see these Titans of our business use every tool that they have in the workshop to build this movie is it was just a treasure trove of lessons and I really feel like I left this experience, a better actor. And you're able to share this experience with with your partner with Sunday, what was that like going to work together every day. It was wild, I mean to to get to share this experience just just to be a part of this movie alone is a life changing moment, but to do it was the and to get to experience these days together and I was there on her first day. I was there on her last day and it was just such a pleasure and I will forever be grateful to fit to Chris and Emma for giving us the opportunity to share a few days ago, she talked about how important it was to have you there that first day I think was the filming of the sacking of joy, yeah, I want to read something that's on social media wrote about you that caught my attention. It's good though, it's great. The way having the 5 movies premiering this year and announcing that she's pregnant is the level of productivity that men cannot achieve. I mean they are at a disadvantage. It's just a literal truth. Yeah, yeah, it went that way. I mean that's it's wild you made everyone else and I would look and feel lazy. A new child coming in 5. Yeah, it's just wild it's kind of crazy because you look I've been doing this for a very very very long time. I hope to do it for you know a long time to come. Yeah, and so you just never know there's there's peaks, there's valleys, there's everything in between and so just crazy to have a time like this for you pull these cards and you're like and the thing that's so exciting is their films that audiences want to see yes, which is just the one of my favorite things in the world is going in the movies and so to be a part of something a part of the year where so many people are just excited to go out experience cinema and then yet to have this personal thing going on at the same time it's amazing wanted to celebrate you we want to celebrate your your your bun there in the oven. We've got your baby gift. And this is not something that you can. You this is when the child comes out we want the child ready for battle. So we create. It is a Trojan outfit. Custom designed and I hope for the baby. So yes, who is talented enough to make all of we have I'm going to do it.
