I hope that you are doing wonderful, fabulous, fantastic and amazing like you should. But most of all, I do hope that you are still standing on the promises of God, okay. Y'all, so as you can see, I'm in the backyard. I thought that I was recording. Let's just say this is the second time I'm doing the intro. I thought that I was recording and come to find out the phone was on a photo and not video. So I chit chatted for a good 6-7 minutes without realizing that I was not recording until the screen went black. Anyway, husband and I is in the backyard. If you watched yesterday's video, I did clean up the patio yesterday because it was in a desperate shape. And so I kind of cleaned it up somewhat. The rain is kind of easing up somewhat. So I'm taking advantage to come back here and mow the lawn. Y'all, the mosquito is not playing. But let's just say I'm all suited up. What happened? They have a piece of wood and they used to touch there. Look for the tree. There's a tree there. We are in the backyard. It's pretty humid out here. Even though it's not raining, it's pretty hot. As you can see, I'm already sweating like a dog. I'm attempting to... It's pretty late already, I'll say. Because we started out late. We had to wait until the sun goes down a little bit. And when the sun goes down, y'all, back here is not where you need to be unless we have fire everywhere. And so I was trying to light the fire earlier. That was a flop because the wood is wet. Still wet from all the rain that we had. But anyways, long story short. Husband already started to mow the backyard. And I... Mow and edge up the edges. And so my plan was to go back here and take out all the wild bushes. Let me put on my glasses so I can see the mosquito there. Y'all, this mosquito ain't joking, okay? So, husband already cut back here and edged it up. I already started the front yard. And so, I'm out of gas. So, husband went over there to fill it up. And so I could get started again. So, something just told me to go ahead and check to see if I had an intro and I didn't. Okay. Blank screen, all of that. But anywho. I could hear husband doing the do without me in the front. So, I'm going to take a break. Well, this is a break to do another intro. I'm going to go back to work. I don't know how I'm going to... If I'm going to survive to do back here. It is terrible, y'all. It is terrible. From all the rain, the wind, everything is like... Everything kind of went in the reverse. I feel like I didn't do anything. My backyard transformation went back to transformation backyard. Alright. So, I'm going to get back and finish up. I already did one side already. I'm going to do the second side. And I'm going to be done. Husband is going to come to the front and edge it up. And I'm going to go ahead and blow what I need to blow. And then I'm going to be done. I feel like I'm going to do it extended. I have to make a run because I have to go do some things. I may have to come back and finish that up. We'll see. Otherwise, the grass is looking grassy. Y'all, all that rain that was falling. The grass is thick. It is thick. Okay. The grass is thick. So, anyway. Let me get back to work. And so on and so forth. I'll probably finish up this. Whatever in the front. The mosquito is even biting me through this. Right here. Because I'm sweating. I guess it's smelling the sweat. And I'm being attacked. So, let me go ahead and help husband with this. Okay. Waiting for the sun. Waiting for the sun Okay, goodies. So let's just say our backyard transformation is transformating. These mosquitoes is not playing no games at all with me back here. And here I am trying to get a fire started, but because we've had so much rain back here like I told you guys before here in Atlanta, the wood is still cold. It's kind of wet and I am trying, but it seems like it's not working, but we're not going to give up. I'm still going to be trying. I'm going to put some of the gasoline on here and see if I can get that started. That should get the wood going. Hopefully. Husband is like, leave it alone. It's not going to work. I need to chop them woods up a little bit more, but me, I'm so desperate you guys with these bugs back here. I don't know how I'm going to survive doing anything at this point because the mosquitoes is out here like crazy. I've never seen them out here this crazy y'all. When I tell you they are biting me through my clothes, what I'm wearing, I'm all covered up because if you remember, I told you that with the sun and my skin, it is not cooperating. So I decided when I come back in my backyard to do any backyard transformation of any form, I'm going to make sure that I covered my arms and stuff. So I had to go shopping for that you guys. So that's what I did. It is very humid also. So let's just say a girl is sweating a storm as well. And it is so hot, OMG. The rain that we've had bring down the heat and with me being all covered up, hiding from the bugs, it's a double dose of heat. Not only heat, but the mosquitoes is giving me hell. They're giving me a run for the money. So I decided to put the fire on hold and go ahead and start the moment of the lawn in the front. Husband already did the back. All we have to do is edge it up in the back. And so we're going to go ahead and do that. Hopefully we get through doing the front yard. If anything, we'll come back to do it tomorrow. It looks like it's already cloudy and bleak as you guys could see, but we're going to do as much as we can. Waiting for the sun. Okay, you guys, so as you can see, I'm still trying to get the front lawn done. The back is already done, but I still have to do some touching up against the fence. So more to come, y'all continue watching. Okay, goodies, right here is when I realized that I had a whole bunch of ants walking up my right leg. Tell me when I looked down, there was nothing but ants in my shoes. OMG, at least 30 ants on one foot. Lord, the things that you go through to get the lawn mowed. Waitin' for the sun, waitin' for the sun All right goodies, so now that I think I'm pretty much done with the front yard, I'm back again in the backyard. So right now I'm just going to straighten some things out, put away some things that has been neglected. The sun is doing what it needs to do, so we're trying to beat against the grain, of course. I have a lot of rainwater back here, so I'm going to utilize those rainwater, put it on the tomatoes and different things, and we're going to dive right into getting everything looking good again. So that way we could move on to some other projects for backyard transformation. So with all that being said, you guys, I'm just going to go ahead and let the music run. If I need to come in, I will definitely come in, but here I'm just straightening things out, getting things back organized, so that way I could start getting this backyard transformation situation shipped together, except for when it's raining, which we've been having a lot of rain in Georgia. Let's just say as soon as I was done with this backyard situation, it started to rain and thunder, so I'm hoping and praying that, fingers crossed, tomorrow the rain is going to hold up so I could get some additional things done. But yeah, we have lots to do, but it seems like I'm going to be spending August in the backyard doing backyard transformation. But I know that you guys don't mind, all right? So make sure that you guys are showing love once again. Say bye-bye, like the video so far, okay? So let's just say we had to take a break, I had to take a quick break. So anyhow, I'm going to finish up today's video. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go ahead and of course clean out all them little wild bushes and stuff that is growing along the fence. And I did mention that I feel like out here doing my backyard, I feel like I'm going back to where I started because everything is all going in. That's because I feel like at the end of the day, it's been neglected. So that's why I feel like I'm going in the reverse. And I can't skip this portion to go down there because everything has to flow. Anyways, we are done again so far cleaning up the patio. I am going to be doing the upstairs patio, but I don't have to rush that. I need to get this right here done. So what I'm planning on doing today, like I said, I'm going to do some things by the fence really quickly, take out the bushes and maybe put some more of my fake plants in there. And yes, y'all who are new here, we're going to be putting some fake plants along the fence because Juliana, non-plant, nothing. Okay, anyway, I also want to put some along the wall over there like I showed you earlier. So I have to take out some of them wild bushes that are growing in and fix that up. Yeah, we're going to do that today. So I purchased, these are from roses. I picked up these weeks ago y'all. When I say weeks, I mean a long time. Even before I went on my cruise, Future is out here as you guys can see and he's going back and forth. Filthy, come here papa. You want to go inside? Future, I think I may have to put him inside so that way I could stay focused. The sun kind of gave me a little bit of break and so I'm taking, I'm taking use of the break that I have. But Future, I think I'm going to put him inside because he's going back and forth and I don't want him to get into trouble. Come papa, come on, let's go. Okay. I'm back. I literally had to lie to Future that my daughter is here. And so he went up quick with him ear drumming last name. Anyway, like I was saying earlier, I did pick these up weeks ago from roses with intentions. Didn't do it, but I'm going to utilize these today. And we're going to use these up today. All right. So let me go back and share with you what I did pick up. The sun is starting to come back. All right. So I picked up, these were, I think these were a $1.99, listen, when I remember when I picked these up, they were on sale, some of them, like this one was 49 cents. I believe this was like a $1.99. This one 49 cents to some of them, this same thing, this was a $1.99. I did get a good deal when I went there. This I think was a $1.99 also, but we're going to use up all of them there. I do have some more of these, which was also 49 cents on sale. It did say a dollar on here, but I did get them for 49 cents. We're going to use these up. We're going to use these up for sure. This one was, I think the same 49 cents, not sure, but I know that I did get a deal. I did strike a deal this day, this particular day. I'm going to bring some, some, some, some life back here. All right. So you guys know this, I always buy these, right? These are top tier for me in roses, those are $2.99 and I did pick up quite a bit, different kinds. I think this is, this is cherry blossom. I think it is. This one too. I'm going to use these up as well. That sun is out y'all, the sun is back. All right. And then this, we're going to use all this up today. So let me go ahead and start, since that's over that side is a bit shady. I'm going to start over this side first and then hopefully the sun will go down. If I see the sun go down while I'm over there, I'm going to stop and head back to the fence because the fence is more intense. That makes, that rides, right? The fence is more intense. That looks really good. I was thinking about putting something in this corner because it kind of look bare, right? That's all. So, I think I'm going to put some more of the berries, but different color, right here. But, everything else, I'm liking. Still miss one of the wild tree growing up right here, so. Pull that out from the root. From the root. That's out. All right, but yeah, but that looks good. Pretty good. All right, so we are done. Besides, I'm going to put something else right there. I like how this look. This look good right here, so. This looks pretty, pretty good right there. So, let me go ahead and put another one right here. I think it's going to balance everything out. All right y'all, so I feel like I got that one right. Everything is balanced out properly. I love that. That looks good. All the way up to the top. Right there. That looks good. I am loving that. Quick, like a quick fix, right? Maybe, who knows, maybe later when I go back and add something else right in here. Because this will look kind of, hmm, you know. Or maybe I could just fix that right here. Not really liking the way this is looking. So, put this in here a little bit. That's better. Okay, perfect. That looks good. I'm going to go ahead and re-fix all of those on the fence. Because they were blown out. And I just went ahead and kind of stick them back into place. But of course, it's not neat or whatever. So, I'm going to go ahead and fix that. And then, let me get in the shade here. I'm going to fix back all of these, y'all. We still have to do a little DIY project right here. And I'm thinking that may be my next step. After I'm done with all of this by the fence. Yeah. Have to fix that. It has fallen. Can't get up without some help. So, I'm going to go ahead and re-place all of those. Let's kind of fix them up. And, yeah. Make it look better, right? So, let's get to it. Waiting for the sun.
