Beautiful morning wingsuit flight through a waterfall!
What a wonderful jump on this trip. I flew through one of the waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley in Switzerland, and honestly one of the coolest lines I've ever flown. Water flow was low that morning, so I took the right side of it. If it had been full flow, that line wouldn't have been an option.
Getting to this exit involves a rappel down to the platform with all your gear on. Always makes the start of the day a little more interesting.
Lauterbrunnen is legendary in the wingsuit world for a reason. It's a U-shaped glacial valley with vertical walls dropping nearly 1,000 meters on both sides and 72 named waterfalls streaming off the top. The name literally translates to ""many fountains."" Tolkien is said to have modeled Rivendell on this valley after visiting in 1911. There are more BASE jumping exits packed into a few kilometers here than anywhere else on earth.
