If you guys are new, feel free to like, comment, subscribe.
Let's get right into this.
We're going to be having a lot more series coming up soon.
It's been a little bit monotonous this summer, but get get excited
because we're going to be doing pretty much a head first dive into NFL
as well as college football on top of the draft.
We have a lot of reasons for that that we'll be talking about
a little bit later in the episode.
And for those of you guys who do have a stake and care about the show,
I highly advise that you guys give me some good feedback
on what I'm going to be asking a little bit later.
But let's jump into the main content right now.
Number one, overall, the Jets go Arch Manningcore back out of Texas.
For me, this is almost an assured thing unless Arch
just genuinely does not perform well this year.
If he kind of like turned back into the pumpkin, then we do end up
having the possibility of him returning for another year.
So it's not off the board for him to be able to do that.
The last name is going to carry a lot of weight.
We got to remember these teams are not just football teams.
There are organizations and organizations.
They care about money.
And that last name Manning is a pretty big moneymaker.
Even when he ends up having some struggles, people still kind of have faith
in the bounce back.
That Manning name has a large light, has large credit in New York City.
So I do think that regardless or East Rutherford in New Jersey,
technically where the stadium is.
But I do think there's a strong likelihood
that whatever team is picking at one goes after Arch Manning.
He has the skill set.
He has a solid enough arm.
I think that's overrated.
But again, you can check out my quarterback video.
I break it down.
I was supposed to put up like a top 15.
My dumb ass ended up putting up the full.
I think it was 25, 26 quarterbacks.
So enjoy it.
Go, go have fun.
Like go crazy.
But, you know, I did want to be able to at least give you guys there some credit.
To my people on Patreon,
there's a lot that's going to be coming your way very soon.
So I appreciate you guys for holding your support for me through the summer.
And again, we have a lot of awesome stuff coming around the corner
because we do have that deal now with Pro Football Sports Network.
That's going to be for a full year of some awesome stuff.
So get really excited for that.
But hey, y'all, this video is sponsored by our friends over at Bear Mattress.
I've been sleeping on my bear elite hybrid mattress for over a month now,
and I absolutely love it.
I live a very busy lifestyle, so getting quality sleep is extraordinarily
important for me to be the best version of myself, both in my career
for the show, for my health, as well as for my relationships.
While I am sponsored by Bear to promote this product,
I genuinely believe in its quality as well as its impact on my life.
Unlike a lot of mattresses, these bear mattresses are made with no fiberglass.
And in fact, they were Green Guard Gold certified,
which means they weren't made with any harsh chemicals.
What that means to you as well as me is that we get to sleep
not only better, but also safer.
My previous mattress was too hot.
It was way too cushiony.
And overall, just the quality of sleep that I got was not great.
I woke up feeling groggy and in pain constantly.
That all ended up changing the moment I switched to this mattress is great.
I woke up feeling refreshed.
I was able to fall asleep easier because I was colder.
And then overall, I just felt more consistent energy
throughout the day with no back pain.
Imagine yourself waking up with less back pain, with more energy,
with feeling more refreshed.
Think about how much more enjoyable life is simply by changing your mattress.
And that's exactly what Bear is providing here for you, as it has done for myself.
Honestly, getting a bear mattress is a no brainer
because it comes with a 120 night sleep trial and a lifetime limited warranty.
It is super easy to see how their mattress ended up actually getting
the best overall sleep award, according to the Oprah Sleep Awards in 2026.
Not only that, they actually ended up getting the best mattress
for relieving back pain by wired.
So all these awards make total sense from my personal experience.
And again, it's elevated my life tenfold when I get to wake up.
With feeling so much better than I really ever have with any of my mattresses.
I just want to say a huge thank you for Bear Mattress
for sponsoring this episode for you guys.
Make sure to visit Bear Mattress dot com slash Hail Mary Sports
or use my code Hail Mary Sports for 40% off.
This lowers the cost more than anything you can do on the site alone.
So make sure you go and get it today.
At number two overall, the Dolphins go after Jeremiah Smith.
I've made this move.
I like the idea of them trading back.
If there is a team at like number three, that's going to look for Dante more.
I love the idea of when I ended up moving up with the Browns.
I did a three round mock draft.
Those are my past two videos, and I highly recommend you guys check it out
because number one and number two overall were both traded.
And I really enjoyed the result of that.
So feel free to go check it out again.
Like views are not going to be something that I chase during summer
because nothing gets views.
But I do really enjoy this type of stuff because when we are so new
into these players, so new into the vision for the teams coming up,
it is really cool to see these fits to understand why people think certain ways.
And yes, some people just make really bad decisions.
Some people obviously are just using some AI.
Some people just want that money.
But understanding maybe a broken clock's right twice a day
or there's a smart people who actually put two and two together.
Understanding those connections can actually give us a much better product
in the long haul.
So regardless, Jeremiah Smith at two to the Dolphins, it makes sense.
I traded out a number two with the Dolphins to still land Jeremiah Smith.
And I got an extra first round pick from it.
Number three, the Browns go Darian Benza quarterback out of Miami.
Funnily enough, I had the Browns trade up.
That would have been the quarterback.
They go at number four in that draft.
But I wanted to go after Dante more because he also, if I'm not mistaken,
Dante more ended up actually having a part of his life in Cleveland.
So kind of adds up to where it would be kind of a cool story for a team
that is super loaded to end up actually having a quarterback
that has the talent that is requisite to be able to make the most of that system.
But Darian Benza has a pretty solid mobility for what people say.
He's better arm strength than what people say.
I think he's on a skyrocket trajectory.
I know some people ended up posting a picture of like Conor McGregor
doing his like long stride.
And, you know, people are kind of using as the new Aaron Rodgers thing.
It's pretty much like the short lived.
I ended up poking fun of how quarterbacks have all this hype in the summer.
The short lived hype.
And someone brought up Darian Benza.
I'm like, no, not that one.
This one feels legit.
And you guys know me.
I am always the type to pulse check.
If Darian Benza was being talked about as the number one overall pick,
I'd be saying, let's hit the brakes.
Like, truth be told, I'm very realistic.
Does that mean I'm 100% right?
Absolutely not.
I try to be, but that also puts me at risk of being wrong,
because if you play it safe, you're wrong quite a bit.
But you're just not ruffling people's feathers in the way.
If you're going to be somebody who's willing to be honest
and not just a contrarian, I hate people who do that.
Never think I'm just going to be a contrarian.
I'd rather be with you guys if you guys are right
than against you guys just to be against like I could give a rat's ass.
Like, it's fun to be able to have these conversations with y'all.
But regardless, I do think Darian Benza
getting the top 10 hype is very understandable.
For me, he was a late first last year.
For Carson Beck, he was more of a second round grade for me
when he was being talked about as that number one overall pick,
hoping that he'd take that big step up.
That Georgia year, he didn't do so.
He ends up going to Miami, didn't really have that hype in the first place.
But, you know, back when Carson Beck was considered, hey, QB1,
he's going to be the number one pick.
I just couldn't see it.
And I had to pulse check.
And I was fine with him as like being viewed as, hey,
if this guy takes a step up, he can be a top 10 pick, similar to Benza.
But Benza is going to a program that elevated Carson Beck from somebody
who, you know, played as a pretty horrible player with a pretty bad injury
to somebody who ended up being, you know, the first pick of the third round,
whether you like it or not.
And then obviously a former third to fifth round pick in Cam Ward,
who ends up becoming the number one pick.
The system knows how to flip solid quarterbacks into stars
and then pretty bum quarterbacks into solid quarterbacks.
And Darian Benza is a pretty damn solid quarterback.
So I really do think that he has a chance to push for the top 10.
Top three is a little rich for me, which is why I took him at number 12
in my most recent mock draft.
But I understand the vision.
Would I take him over Dante more?
No, I think Benza has a worse frame, and that's something
that does worry me a little bit.
It's not like he has a super plus arm.
He doesn't have a rocket, but he knows how to layer passes extraordinarily well.
The deep ball, it does float with a great arc,
which helps out your wide receivers with being able to catch it.
Like there's a lot that I love about Darian Benza.
So would I be shocked if he goes at number three in the real draft? No.
But at the same time, I'm not going to bank on it. Right.
So I do think that the Browns could go after Darian Benza
if Dante Moore goes at number two.
I just don't really see Benza providing that value
unless Dante Moore has a pretty lackluster year
and Benza takes a skyrocketing lead.
Number four, Dante Moore goes to the Arizona Cardinals.
So in the simulation, it's pretty obvious that Dante Moore
didn't have a pretty bad year.
It would depend on the system for the Cardinals.
Granted, if you're sitting at four, you're there's not a better quarterback
that's available.
Like maybe if Sellers can just process the game quicker.
Like for me, that's the number one thing with Sellers is just please process
because when he's calm, when he's composed,
I don't think there's a better quarterback in the class.
Like Sellers could be sealing QB one without a doubt in my mind.
Dante Moore is kind of like that floor QB one.
I just don't really see.
It's very hard for me to find a way that Dante Moore would end up being
the would be like having a bad season in general.
And if he does have a bad season, I don't see him going number four.
So putting those two together offensive system wise like Dante Moore.
I don't know.
Like he fits the floor style of offense right now.
And we'll see what happens.
But I mean, he's he's a good quarterback who understands having the value
of a really solid tight end room.
Like he would actually have a better wide receiver room
in Arizona than he would in college, so that'd be very exciting to see.
But I think it's still a solid move there nonetheless.
Number five, the Titans go Dylan Stewart edge out of South Carolina.
What surprises me about this move here for the Titans
would be Saul's use of a thinner edge rusher.
It's not very often that you're seeing somebody of Dylan
Stewart's build be able to have that level of success.
Granted, if I'm not mistaken, Huff was a little bit on the lighter side.
So maybe you could have that role, which was I mean, I guess in fair
in fairness, it was pretty damn successful.
But I mean, Dylan Stewart to me, you you get no qualms for me.
He's my number five player.
I just think that the offensive tackle position is just so much more valuable
than the edge rusher at this point.
Tackles are becoming extraordinarily hard to find.
Even the ones in legendary classes where we have multiple first round pick ones,
they still end up being half of them being middle of the road,
if not lower tier, right?
So being able to get a superstar offensive tackle
is not guaranteed every year.
I swear to God, every year we find a really good edge rusher.
Granted, I've never seen someone who plays like Dylan Stewart.
So if you have a vision for him, I understand.
But again, this would be like a pick.
I'd give like an A or an A, like a minus, like it's still a really solid pick.
It's a great player.
It's someone who's very unique that you like to pick in this range.
But I would say those in a plus would 100% be Jordan Seaton, in my opinion.
Number six, the Raiders go Colin Simmons edge out of Texas.
You know, kind of the one B in this situation.
But for me, it's a pretty clear number to Colin Simmons.
It's just a damn good player all around.
I don't think he's the best athlete.
I don't think he's the best pass rusher.
I don't think he's the best run defender in the class.
I do think pretty much all those categories go to Dylan Stewart.
But if you are looking for someone who is extraordinarily well-balanced
and doesn't really have a weak spot, that is Colin Simmons.
And that is extremely valuable for a team like the Raiders
that would be wanting some consistency out of their edge, too.
It makes sense.
So I don't see this as a bad move.
Personally, I would like to see the confidence in Jermod McCoy's
ability in the NFL before ditching Leonard Moore.
That would be the other guy who I'd be looking at this point.
Cam Coleman as well.
If you really are lackluster in your offensive department.
I don't see the Raiders picking in the top ten.
Like they have Max Crosby on the defense.
That's a leader enough to provide some stability.
And they have a really good defensive line coach at their D.C.
And they invested a lot in that secondary.
I personally don't see them taking that small of a step forward
when you have a brilliant head coach who's an amazing offensive
mind and a quarterback in Fernando Mendoza, who has been extremely consistent
in big moments and a solid enough offensive line, a great running back,
a top ten pick at running back, and then a lot of young weapons,
including probably the best tight end in the entire NFL.
I just don't see the Raiders picking here.
But again, I understand this is not a custom draft order, which I think it's time
that we end up building one ourselves.
And I was hoping that Pro Football Sports Network and I would have ended up
getting the we're supposed to have special custom graphics
on their simulators for you guys, as well as myself, to use
and be able to like use their like their mock draft simulator.
It has the specific colors.
It would be in the show's colors and stuff.
So I was hoping they'd do that.
We're going to.
I was hoping it would be up for kind of like their record predictor model
because that would end up building the draft, the draft order
that we could have ended up using.
So we'll see what happens there.
But I mean, I just think that this season, it probably won't be in the cards
for us to to use the custom one.
I think I just need to bite the bullet and end up doing some extra pre recording
before I go to Europe and give you guys a really enjoyable, long
and, you know, overall quality set of videos for you guys
to enjoy breaking down what I think of these teams in a pretty succinct manner.
And then that gives us an awesome custom draft order.
But the Steelers go at number seven, Drew Mess to make her quarterback
of Oklahoma State.
He is my number one quarterback in the entire class.
Again, feel free to go check out my quarterback video
where I break down exactly why.
But I love Drew Mess to make her man.
I mean, we're going to see whether he takes the step up
when he goes in higher competition from UNT to Oklahoma State.
But this is somebody where as he's continually working on his mechanics,
the high level plays are there.
The tight window throws are there.
The layering is there.
There's not much that is not there.
And then you add into the fact this guy never started a game in high school.
He goes to UNT and he's a redshirt sophomore
and he ends up having the season he did with, I believe, over 40 touchdowns.
And I don't think he threw a single pick off the top of my head.
To me, that doesn't matter because, again, I didn't buy that B.S.
with Trey Lance, but Drew Mess to make her special, man.
I mean, this is literally you're looking at kind of a Drake
May style of quarterback here.
And for the Steelers, it's my dream.
It literally is my dream.
I don't think he comes out because Hawkins is a true sophomore.
And then you can end up tossing in Wyatt Young,
who still has a lot of eligibility as well.
I don't see him coming out.
But if they do, I prayed or if he does and maybe Wyatt Young as well,
I prayed technically both could be, but primarily mess to make her.
I hope best makers of Pittsburgh Steelers would love that.
Atlanta Falcons at eight, they go CJ Carr quarterback at a Notre Dame.
CJ Carr is one of my favorite quarterbacks in the class.
He's sitting there at number 22 out of the players I've graded so far.
He is a true starter grade for me.
There's a lot that needs to be worked on in terms of his game
from the accuracy perspective when it comes down to it.
And I want you guys to go check this out.
Like, I need to see if PFSN has it.
But, you know, PFF technically, my deal is not started with PFSN yet.
It starts in early August.
But like I know for PFF specifically, they have a passing chart
that you can have in premium stats and you can just look for yourself
at the accuracy on the right side of the field.
Looks incredible.
Middle, it's like, it's all right.
Left is atrocious.
And it's just like I broke.
Brochman, I talked about this ad nauseum with each other.
It's like we genuinely both saw it before we even knew the numbers
actually backed it up.
So we need to see why that's happening, firstly.
But secondly, it just needs to improve.
I mean, if you have satisfactory, like some guys are just comfortable
throwing to certain sides of the field.
That's just a given.
Every single quarterback is better at some side, some side of the field
than the other, right?
Some quarterbacks are better rolling out right than rolling out left.
It's just it's a guarantee, right?
Nobody can be perfect from every single part of the field.
But it was drastic.
And so if we can bring the differential like, you know,
maybe we're right here, we boost this here, maybe we can boost it here.
And even though it's still worse than he was this past year
on the right side of the field, we just see it not be a liability.
That to me would be a massive indicator of success.
And I'd be 100% supportive of him going over here
to a Stefanski led Falcons, because I think he'd work extraordinarily well.
I think he's very similar to Shador Sanders in the aspect of some solid
mobility, nothing too crazy, not the best arm in the world,
but certainly nothing that's horrible.
Again, solid processor overall.
But again, it is another second issue that's big with CJ Carr
was in the big moments he would be either extremely on point or extremely off.
Bad interceptions where you're just like, dude, get yourself out of the rut.
Go through your progressions.
And I do see that in the cards for him being a top ten pick.
We just need to see the consistency improve.
Number nine, the Saints go Leonard Moore, cornerback out of Notre Dame.
It's a very Saints pick.
They do love to take really good value players.
And I think Jordan Tyson, when healthy, was my number two player
in the class last year.
And obviously, you know, my concerns dropped him to,
I think, seven or something on my board.
It's it's visible for all you guys who want to go and check it out.
But, you know, I do think that Leonard Moore would end it
like he's my number one player and probably will stick there
unless we find out he is like above four or five one on his 40.
If he's four or five flat and under, he is number one for me with zero debate
in my mind as to whether he can handle the NFL.
Like it was solely Kenny Johnson having some reps
where he'd end up getting vertical separation on him.
That made me a little concerned.
But Leonard Moore is an absolute beast.
Like I think that this would be a phenomenal move for a Saints team
that has had notoriously a really good secondary.
But at the same time, some things have just kind of degraded
and they haven't necessarily put the right pieces in place.
But they're in the process of doing a really solid job of continuously
getting replacements for where they're weak.
So it's a good organization, honestly.
I got to give them their flowers, even though they end up picking pretty high.
They still do a good job overall.
They are strategically working the way that I would want a team to work.
And they're taking risk in areas where I don't agree,
but end up being wrong like Tyler Shuck.
So, you know, if there's a team that's willing to put their balls on the table
and they end up being right and they end up strategically working in areas
that I agree with the way that I would want to do it.
I got to give them credit.
I think they're a damn good organization.
We haven't yet seen it lead to the wins.
But I think in terms of the roster strength,
they could have been handled significantly worse than what
than what they have.
I'm going to take a moment right here to ask you guys a question,
because this is where OGs are watching right now,
because right now we can talk about Cam Coleman to the Giants.
First off, I think it's fantastic.
So we'll break it down a little bit more.
I do have a wide receiver video on it.
But the real thing I want to talk about is we have
two pretty big sponsorships that are going to change the show.
And I have to choose between them.
And I want to know what your guys's thoughts are on it,
because I don't do this for the money.
Never have.
There's a big reason why YouTubers phase out pretty quickly,
especially during the dead period.
And I've had my moments where I've thought about it for sure.
But, you know, the relationship I have with y'all is the reason that I stay here.
We're basically looking at prize picks and call sheet.
Both of them have some sort of pushback
from certain parts of the community, and for the right reason.
I think that, you know, with call sheet, I would emphasize
the focus on the sports aspect.
But there are aspects of their product
that can definitely be concerning, to say the least.
So they're trying to sponsor 30 videos a month,
and that means they're going to be sponsoring pretty much every video.
And I love that.
And I love the support and the fact that they basically want
to be the sole sponsor of the show.
And I think that would be fantastic.
Again, if we end up just solely looking at odds and everything for football,
and that's the way that I would be able to, you know,
that's the way I would promote it.
I think that we're fine.
I do want to know what you guys think about it.
Prize picks.
We don't have the official numbers yet, but
they're just wanting more.
So the view side of things necessarily than the video side of things
could probably equate to be the same.
But price picks also is gambling, right?
So that also has its relative concerns there.
And it's like I would have to be making picks and stuff.
And, you know, there's a lot of
there's a lot of issues with people being addicted to gambling.
So I think call sheet would be a better reflection of just saying,
hey, this is current market for me.
Again, right now, at this point in the video, nobody who is like officials
watching.
So that's why I'm talking with you guys about it.
Like, I like the idea of call sheet regardless of the return on investment
because of the fact that it's just it's usable information.
It's not like, oh, we're, you know, selecting our picks for the week.
It's like, hey, this is what the world or the market is saying
should be the number one pick right now.
And let's factor that in.
This is the team that should have the number one pick.
This is the player who is like projected here.
I like that aspect.
But I want to hear from you guys because I do this with you guys.
I don't want to be seen as some sellout.
I don't want to be seen as somebody who's just trying to get a money grab
and then sacrifice any sort of like foundation that I built with y'all.
If I kill the relationship with y'all, this is fine.
I could care less about 30 videos a month from a sponsor for a year
trying to build this for a lot longer.
So let me know what you guys think.
Regardless, back to the actual content.
Giants getting Cam Coleman.
They do need to have a true number two.
And Cam Coleman, I don't know.
Personality wise, I saw him give up on some reps there at Auburn.
And granted, his quarterback was absolute cheeks there.
I don't know how he would handle being a wide receiver, too.
But this year, we're going to see how we can handle being a wide receiver.
1A or 1B to Wingo.
I'm extremely excited to see that.
Mackay, or excuse me, Malik Neighbors, what I was trying to say.
Malik Neighbors is the one.
I think Cam Coleman can rival him in skill set.
However, my only problem is this, and it's not a problem.
It's just a thought that's on my mind.
Cam Coleman's skill set is relatively reflective
of what I'd like out of Malik.
That's the only concern.
It's like, do we have a role overlap?
But no one complains about two Justin Jeffersons, right?
There's a certain point where the talent is so good.
Like roles, like role overlap doesn't matter.
It's only when players are role specific and don't have any flexibility at all
where you're like, OK, you know, Malik takes that role.
So I do really like the value there.
Obviously, he is my number three player in the class,
and I have him above Jeremiah Smith.
Number 11, the Panthers could take Lenore Sellers quarterback
out of South Carolina.
Pretty much going from small, high IQ, quick processing quarterback
to monster, crazy physical talent.
And granted, Bryce is really slippery as well.
So you keep the mobile aspect, but you add significant mass to the frame.
You add even more velocity and you end up worsening the processor.
You end up having someone who's NFL height.
So that's cool.
But it is something to think about.
If the Panthers land at number 11, Bryce Young is going to be trying
to command some sort of deal.
Is it going to be better to try to do the Baker side of things
where you end up giving him a relatively affordable rate on the year?
Or do you end up taking your shot on the QB like this?
It's something to ask if you're sitting at number 11
versus where y'all think you're going to be.
I think your opinion is going to be a little different.
Like right now, a lot of fan bases are like, oh, I'm really locked in
on our guy being like 10 out of 10.
We're going to kick some ass. And I love that.
I just think that eventually.
Things are going to calm down.
And if you guys are sitting at number 11,
there's some things to worry about there.
Number 12, the Panthers go Nick Marsh, wide receiver out of Indiana.
I really like Nick Marsh overall.
Here are my issues with him.
He's not a plus athlete.
So I think he dominates in college in a way that I don't know
he can dominate in the NFL.
And secondly, even though he's a really good route
runner, has those release packages that you really like,
he doesn't necessarily have the contested cash capabilities
of someone who can't separate with athleticism.
NFL players react a lot quicker and they're a lot better as an athlete.
I worry about Nick Marsh anywhere but in the slot because of that reason.
Does that mean he can't play?
No, but if you're trying to find the right return on investment
of a number 12 overall pick,
there's something in there to be able to talk about.
So, yeah, I mean, you have to have a little bit more value
than just being a base slot.
And that's why with Antonio Williams there, I'm a little bit worried.
And then also Jalen Lane about there being a lot of guys
who might be maximized in the slot versus on the outside.
And even though guys can play on the outside,
you want to maximize the talent of your roster.
So that's where I'd be a little bit worried about that.
But I understand the wide receiver move.
Thirteen, the Vikings go Trevor Goosby tackle out of Texas.
A lot of people.
I mean, I guess you are trying to replace Brian O'Neill in this situation,
but a lot of people locked in on the Vikings taking a tackle.
If Goosby's here, his left and right tackle versatility
really is an asset that you can use and leverage.
So I understand it at this point.
It's when the Vikings are sitting there in the top ten
where things can get a little hairy.
So I don't mind this again.
If you are trying to solve that right tackle vacancy for the long haul.
I understand it, but I just don't know.
I don't know if Goosby can just switch back to right tackle
and be perfect off the bat.
And granted, if you guys are sitting there at number 13,
I think the leash is longer than what we'd hope for.
So we'll see what happens there.
Number 14, the Jets go Ellis Robinson, the fourth cornerback out of Georgia.
Ellis Robinson and D'Angelo Pons
physically play extraordinarily heavier than what they actually weigh.
I love them.
Like in terms of identity, like first off, Ellis Robinson
technically should be my number four player.
I dropped him for one game that he played versus Tennessee,
where he allowed two touchdowns on nine reps.
That was early in the season.
All right.
The way he ended up playing after that is just legitimately top five
in this class special.
This is a special player.
I don't think he comes out if he's not going to be a top ten pick.
This is sauce, stingly level.
And I'm not saying that lightly.
And we might see it again next year.
You're looking at DJ Pickett.
You're looking at Finney.
I think Bama has another corner as well as talking to Broch about this.
Like we're in store for some top tier corner play.
And I am beyond excited for it.
I think the Jets would get an absolute steal there at 14 if he does fall.
I just don't think he'd end up coming out in the class for that.
For that reason.
All right.
Bears go at number 15, Quincy Rhodes, the edge out of Arkansas.
This is a perfect Dennis Allen build that edge rusher.
He likes six five and above 265 and above 66275 for Quincy.
This is a great fit.
My problem is Quincy is very one dimensional.
He's a pass rusher, which granted is kind of what you guys were hoping for.
But I would prefer to get a balanced edge rusher in the first round.
I don't think Quincy Rhodes is of that caliber as a pass rusher,
but it's definitely significantly better as a pass rusher than anything else.
So that's just what I have to say about that.
It's a good fit.
Just a little bit early.
And again, we're going to see a full year of progression.
We'll see what happens.
But yeah, I mean, the Bears desperately need an edge, too.
They need some defensive interior help.
The problem is trying to find a reason to slots
to find it like something on offense to put for the Bears,
because they're not just going to go solely defense the first couple of rounds.
Regardless, 16, the Jags go Jordan Seaton tackle out of LSU.
My number two player in the class literally within sneezing distance
of being number one.
And it's a pretty clear top two for me.
And I don't think that there's anybody who competes with Leonard
Mooring in Jordan Seaton, like legitimately.
Cam Coleman, Jeremiah Smith, Dylan Stewart, Ellis Robinson.
That's the next tier of players that can like get to this territory.
And I'm not just saying it because that's where they're ranked.
I'm looking at the guys and I'm like, yeah,
like those are the players I can see taking that step like K.J.
Bolden's phenomenal player, but he's a safety.
I can't put him that high.
I mean, unless the class is as bad as last year at the top, which it's not.
So David still has that potential.
But I just don't think odds wise it gets there.
But the other guys, but Jordan Seaton,
Lord have mercy, an absolute superstar.
But yeah, I mean, he could end up being the number one overall pick.
I think the Jags, if they end up seeing him here at 16,
it would be for an injury reason.
And based on the fact that Landon's basically on a one year contract,
not smart, I mean, I think they give him a three year,
but it's like a one year guaranteed.
I think this would be a phenomenal move because ultimately,
if you think Landon is good enough to play another year,
you just play him for another year.
If you have the cap space, then you get you end up,
you know, cutting him the year after.
But Jordan Seaton, like phenomenal player,
really good anchor, extraordinarily smart.
It is a monster player.
Talk about an unbelievable draft right now.
The Jets go David Stone defensive tier out of Oklahoma.
That is awesome.
I mean, first off, and we got number seven, number six,
and then number 13 within the first 17 picks for the Jets.
That's based on my board.
I think that is phenomenal.
The Jets could always use some extra beef on the interior.
And David Stone, he has some, he has some seasoning to do.
Needs to work on that core strength, gets on the ground a little too much.
But in terms of the build, very rare archetype of player.
So this is somebody who I have a lot of faith in.
Just there's also that risk that comes with him
that I think the biggest supporters don't necessarily acknowledge.
18, the Bengals go Kaden Green guard out of Missouri.
The Bengals offensive line is not as bad as maybe I've made it seem.
And especially this, a first round guard, I think would be a bit crazy.
I don't think the offensive line is in that level of like, I mean, when
I mean, you've seen backup quarterbacks there for the Bengals.
They've been able to handle it some way, shape or form.
I don't think that they need to invest this high.
That's just my take.
The Bengals do need some help on the defensive side of things.
On the offensive side, again, it's just like you can look at running back here.
Jayden Ball would be my selection.
But again, it's not a bad pick.
Kaden Green is the best interior offensive line in the entire class.
It's pretty hands down at this point.
And he's someone who plays tackle, too.
So you get some flexibility there.
So I mean, again, we'll see what happens, but I just don't know
if you need to graduate just yet with a first round offensive guard.
All right.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers go trade as green tight end of LSU at 19.
I've done this several times myself.
And now that I've fully graded trade as green, I regret it.
Trey does is, in my opinion, a glorified wide receiver
that doesn't have the athleticism play wide receiver
and doesn't have the physicality as a blocker to play tight end.
He is solely not on the line of scrimmage for me.
And that sucks because I was really excited.
And I've seen the highlight levels and then watch some players against him.
And, you know, maybe I weighed those results a little bit too much
because when I watched trade as green, there was a lot of problems that he's had.
Some pretty bad drops were uncontested.
Look at that Bama game.
Two bad drops.
And then he has some awesome contested catches.
I think that's phenomenal to his game.
But like there's referee standing out wide as a wide receiver,
like not even the slot.
And he looks more comfortable there than in line.
There's just there's parts to his game.
It doesn't seem like he has the best feel for soft spots,
the way that, you know, some other tight ends in this class,
like Jamari Johnson, Terrence Carter, the way that they do.
So I just personally don't really see trade as green
as being the first tight end off the board.
I was really excited for it.
Just part of me doesn't believe it.
And I hope I'm wrong.
But he's undersized, doesn't have the physicality to be a true tight end.
It's pretty tough to sell me on that in the first round.
20, the Cowboys go Charlie Becker wide receiver out of Indiana.
I don't think he has the athleticism required to be like a first round
pick to the Cowboys.
For me, I always go after Ryan Wingo because of the athletic potential.
Becker is the exact opposite.
Not the best athlete on Earth.
Incredible hands, right?
That's literally the opposite of Ryan Wingo.
So I don't think Charlie Becker is not a first round pick.
I think in the perfect role for him as like more
that reliable possession of red zone contested catch threat.
He's probably the third best receiver in the class.
But if you don't have a glaring vacancy at that spot,
I just think it's a I think there's just better return on investment.
And for the Cowboys, that's not the archetype of receiver I'd be looking for.
21, the Texans go Jamari Johnson tight end out of Oregon.
I don't mind this at all.
However, they just drafted a tight end in the second round.
I don't like Marlon Klein at all.
Also, I don't really think Marlon Klein competes with Jamari Johnson.
The problem that we all are facing right now
is that Jamari Johnson played last year at 258 pounds.
NFS has him listed being weighed 245.
We're going to see a different Jamari Johnson, and that excites me.
But it also is like, OK, well, now I can't say he can compliment Marlon Klein.
So we'll see.
But I mean, technically, the Jets took a tight end in round two one year
and then one round one this past year, also from Oregon.
So it's not out of the realm of possibility, but it's just something to note.
I think Jamari Johnson's fantastic, though, and I love
if you can end up keeping some of that strength.
I love what he could be at 245 because his skill set is rare.
22, the Broncos go after a Maury Washington defensive interior out of Oregon.
You guys see where I have him on my board.
I think he's a phenomenal defensive interior.
And a lot of these positions actually like the positions
that get marked down for grades.
Those positional values are there.
I have boosted defensive interior value before, and it is possible
that I do it again.
There's a chance of Mario's higher than this on my board.
Like, we'll see what happens.
But Broncos going after a quality defensive interior
with unmatched explosiveness, incredible high level tape
and better consistency as he got more and more reps.
To me, that's a that's an A plus move for a team
that's just trying to maintain that level of consistency.
At 23, the Eagles go Drake Lindsay quarterback out of Minnesota.
He just is not a first round player.
He's not a 2027 draft player.
I don't think I would draft him in this next draft
based on where he is at currently.
And that's nothing to do with the talent, because you guys, again,
you can see my video where I broke him down.
I think it's my QB 15 or 16.
You can end up seeing exactly what I think there.
But I know people are much lower on Drake Lindsay than me.
It's just OK, cool.
You see some elements of Stafford to his game.
He has a really strong arm.
The Eagles, if they take a QB round one, they're expecting him to start.
That's just the fan base.
That's the culture.
That's the organization.
And again, organization, it cares about its fan base.
Just like I care about y'all.
Because if I want to make a pure money move, I won't be asking y'all
for any feedback.
But yeah, the Eagles going Drake Lindsay that to me, that's a huge miss.
Again, if Lenora Sellers is there, I'm all on board.
I just don't see QB as being the move there
with that archetype of very long developmental player.
Twenty four, the Chiefs go Amari and Miller wide receiver out of Mount
Arizona State.
I think this is incredible.
I take Amari and Miller noticeably higher than this quite often.
He sits there at number 21 overall on my current big board.
Again, players are being added from other positions.
So get excited about that.
But Amari and Miller is an absolute stud.
Twenty five, the Lions go above a car.
Traore, I think that might be spelled correctly.
Edge out of Notre Dame.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that.
But I thought it was Traore off the top of my head.
Regardless, I think that the Lions don't need a third edge rusher
like you took Hutchinson at what, two?
And you ended up taking Derek Moore and a move up at 50.
But we don't need another first round edge rusher.
And three round one to two edge rushers.
A shout out to Lyndon Cooper.
Center now for Vanderbilt, by the way, one of my favorite players last year.
We'll see what happens with him.
But I don't see the return on investment here.
Personally, I just I don't I don't like it.
Number 26, the Niners go after Trevor Lau to tackle out of Iowa.
From what I've heard and honestly, I've watched a lot of Iowa tape
for some reason.
I've never been wowed by by the tax.
So I highly doubt this ends up being somebody that I'd even want to draft.
I could be wrong, though.
But again, this is somebody that I personally have never seen in the first round.
And don't ever look at PFF stats for offensive linemen for Iowa.
Very misleading compared to what the tape actually says.
I don't know.
Maybe there's somebody who's dedicated to grading Iowa games
that just doesn't know how to grade offensive line.
It wasn't pretty.
Number 27, the Chargers go.
Kingston Villiamu Asa linebacker out of Notre Dame.
Extremely high ceiling player.
Again, their medical red flags are what you can get scared of.
Like somebody ended up saying, if he's not first round this year,
he'd go back in 2028 to be first rounder then.
I'm all down for that.
I do think that we're going to see
these names Posa, the linebacker from Wisconsin,
that would challenge him in 2028.
And of course, this year, Sammy Brown does as well.
Again, just multiple ACL tears in the same knee could be a massive red flag.
But the Chargers, I mean, there's a lot of mid on the Chargers, man.
The Chargers are a team I'm kind of selling on versus buying.
And again, I hope that bites me in the ass because.
Again, I like good football over being right in those situations.
Twenty eight.
We have the Patriots going Kelly Jones corner of Mississippi State.
People are right.
I mean, without Gonzo, there is some concern
at that cornerback position for the long haul.
I don't blame y'all.
And Kelly Jones has a great frame and slide right into that situation
with the physicality and the man coverage capabilities that you're looking for.
I just don't I don't buy him being a first round player,
but I have taken him in the first because I think I'm wrong.
But we'll see.
Again, I like the fit.
You guys have brought it up because I haven't drafted corner for the Patriots.
And I do listen.
That's why I respond to every single one of y'all's comments.
I think that it's great to feel
to hear the feedback from those of y'all who actually care and know your team
at a level that, you know, people like me, bro, people who actually study all 32
can't really because you watch this team, you study them,
you see all your beat reporters saying the things day by day.
So I completely understand.
And I appreciate y'all for providing that insight.
At 29, the Ravens go Jaden Boff running back out of Florida.
You guys see where he's out on my board, and that is knocked down
with positional value, the quarterbacks elevated with positional value.
So if it is raw grades, I think he ends up being the top 10.
That's how good he is.
It's a rare build of player with unreal fluidity
and blocking ability route running ability.
It really comes down to him not being able to make people miss consistently.
And the numbers are there that say he can.
But the eye test is not.
And again, I'm highlighting him as a potential top 10 player
without this ability.
If he ends up putting it all together,
I don't know if there's a running back I've studied that's better than him.
It's a big thing.
I think he's better than Genting, probably better than Hampton.
If he can get to their level, making people miss
because he is so complete, there's nothing about Jaden
Ball's game outside of the consistency of translatability
with his miss tackles that bother me.
It's that special.
So for the Ravens specifically, because this is to the Ravens.
Yeah, I mean, I take right back to him all the time.
It's one of the positions that I am shocked that Ravens fans are
sometimes get mad at me for because it's like y'all are very run centric team.
I know it's a whole entire new organization, Declan Doyle, all that.
But you don't lose the core identity of yourself
because you take in a new offensive coordinator.
He's just going to be able to put his old twist on things.
And I highly doubt Declan Doyle is not going to like having a bruiser
like Jaden Ball after having a bruiser like Kyle Monungai last year.
Again, he wasn't the O.C. last year, but still,
I mean, part of the system that really valued him.
30s, Seahawks go Anthony Smith edge out of Minnesota.
Very high ceiling edge.
Definitely someone who needs to take a massive leap forward.
But the Seahawks taking a project edge and making it work
the 100% what they did last time out of Minnesota was boy, I'm off it.
So if Smith takes that step right in line with what they do.
At number 31, we had the Bills going Tatum, Toyota edge out of Oregon.
I don't see this happening.
Of course, they could be just looking for another edge rusher
after a lot of their short term fills are just not going to work.
We'll see what strategically they want to do there.
But Tatum, Toyota was best as a special teamer.
I don't think he's remotely close to the first round edge.
Again, I'm excited to be wrong about that.
But simply put, I don't think I am.
His best plays last year came with him being a special team of blocking punts.
Not really what you're taking at number 31.
But regardless, I mean, if you are losing the Super Bowl
and maybe the edge you want is just having a consistent edge rotation
with someone who could be a true one,
you're probably not getting him at number 31 in the first place.
But if you do somehow, maybe that's just the way you go.
Last but not least, the Browns at 32 take Ahmad Moten,
defensive interior to Miami.
Defensive interior is not a bad position to target ever.
Like there's always a solid rotation in the NFL.
So you're always getting solid reps for your guys.
And Moten is a consistent, polished, well-built player.
If you want consistency, I don't see this being a problem at all.
So they take two Miami players in this.
Tate Johnson was not selected, nor O.J.
Frederique from my top ten.
For me, I understand Tate Johnson because it's a safety.
O.J. Frederique, I understand, because it's very much a my guy.
I could be totally wrong because there's a lot of reasons
why it could go south.
But I do have a lot of faith there.
But outside of that, my top 15 was fully selected.
DJ Lagway and Devin McEwen are both big my guys and both shouldn't be
in first round box.
So that's why I don't put them there.
But that's the video.
Thank you so much for watching.
Showing the love you always do.
I'll see you later.
