Which Alabama Newcomer Will Score the Most Touchdowns in 2026? Just a Minute

We are getting closer and closer to the start of the 2026 Alabama football season,
and that means it's time to start familiarizing yourself with the new players on the roster,
the transfers and the freshmen, and some of the guys that can make an impact. And as I was kind
of doing that today, I started thinking about which new face will score the most touchdowns
this season. And it's actually not as many candidates as you would think with all the
transfers Alabama brought in. There's really only two guys tied in, Josh Ford and wide receiver Noah
Rogers. They could be in the running for that category, and with Rogers getting hurt on A-Day
and likely not being back until the very end of the regular season, that kind of knocks him out.
Josh Ford, I think Alabama's really excited about him. The physicality he brings, blocking for the
run game, I think he will catch passes. I think he could be a go-to option in short yardage situations
down in the red zone, and so he could get some touchdowns. But I think really you have to look
at the freshmen that are going to kind of reach the top in this category. I think you have two
candidates there in Sedarian, Morgan and EJ Crowell. Running back Crowell, wide receiver Morgan.
And I think EJ Crowell is going to be the guy, the newcomer, that scores the most touchdowns. I
think Alabama is really counting on him to bring something into that running game as the Crimson
Tide tries to re-establish a competent, a strong run game. And I think EJ Crowell is a guy that can
do that. He scored over 90 touchdowns in high school, so he's used to finding the end zone.
And because of that, I think he'll do it for Alabama this season. A little offseason hot
take, I think all of those guys mentioned will score at least three touchdowns this year.
Rodgers, depending on the timeline of when he gets back, that may impact it a little bit. But I think
all four of those guys are guys you're going to see in the end zone this fall. But I think EJ
Crowell will score the most out of any of them. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments
on social media. That wraps up today's Just A Minute. Thank you so much for watching.
