ONE POT VEGAN MEALS | 5 Fast & Lazy Beginner Recipes (with less washing up!)

Hello! So today's video is all about one pot dinner recipes or lunch recipes. They are all super easy because they can be made in one pot so it saves on washing up. Perfect for students or beginners to cooking or beginners to veganism. Makes things a lot easier and they are all really really simple. Making this video is probably one of the easiest I've done because every recipe was just so easy to do. Obviously because there's only one pot involved. I'm not going to be trying any of the recipes because I am ill at the minute. Alex is going to be trying them. I will make a separate video about this. I talked about it on Instagram but I think I may have IBS. Well I'm pretty sure I do and at the minute I just can't eat any food really apart from crisps and oats. I'm going to see a dietician soon and I will do a full video. I talk about it on our vlog channel if you want to go watch that video where I talk about the whole thing and what's happened but I want to talk about it on this channel soon and do a proper video because I know from the response on Instagram a lot of you are going through digestive issues as well so it's something I really want to open up about and share my experience on. Does everyone like Alex's new haircut? A little short isn't it? Right what do you want me to do with this food? Put it in your gob. I'm so jealous. Okay I'm going to eat all that right now. Let's get your rating out of 10 for each one. It's hard when you're hungry and you taste something good. I'll give it a nine. Wow. I think a nine's good. It's so fresh and creamy and the lemon and the herbs and the pepper and the mushroom, the portobello mushroom, so nice. I reckon this might be your fave because you love your stir fries. I like that you were able to get it in one pot. Yeah. I wasn't convinced but you did. Because you normally have to cook the noodles separate or you have to buy those instant noodles that have loads of plastic. These are better value for money as well. They are. Crunchy. 10 out of 10. Yeah? Is it really nice flavour? Perfect amount. You get it every time you just bung it in but it's always just right. That's the best way to cook. This is really good. Taste test number three. How excited are you? Very. I think this is the one I'm most excited for. Really? The spaghetti's my favourite. But noodles are your favourite too but I suppose they're the same thing aren't they? Yeah, pretty much. That's a solid 10. Is it? Yeah. I love spaghetti and I love these kind of lemony ones where it's just like lemon and a bit of oil and stuff. Sun dried tomatoes and pine nuts are a bit of a luxury but they really make it, they take it to the next level. You could put whatever nuts and veg you wanted in there. You could put cherry tomatoes to save money. Yeah, I'd normally do that. Or you could put any chopped nuts. Pine nuts are a bit pricey but I always put them on my pizza when I go out to eat. It's nice to have a change because I usually make it with just chopped tomatoes and that can sometimes get boring so this is a nice change and I could eat this all day. Right, so what's next? What's next is this soup that you've already seen being cooked. What is it? Butternut squash? Carrot? No. Coconut? No. Oh, sweet potato. Same thing. Right, that's good. It's sweet, it's creamy from the coconut. That's a really good soup. One out of ten. That's one of the best ones we've made. Yeah? What do you give it out of ten? The spices and the flavour. I'll give it an eight and a half. It's very good but also it's soup. Very good again Madeleine. Even better with avocado. This is very nice. I'm not a huge fan of courgette as you know but this is actually very very good. Courgette's not too soggy and not too crunchy. It's just perfect. I'd give this another eight and a half. Putting quinoa in it or putting it all in one bowl is actually a very good idea. Makes your life a lot easier. I never have thought of doing that because normally we just do it with rice. Yeah. I know that we never normally do this but because you're the one who's rating them can you tell us what your favourite was? Like list them one to five. So I know that spaghetti was number one. That was 10 out of 10. I can't remember the ratings I gave but number two I think in retrospect was the risotto. I really really like that. But you rated the noodles higher than the risotto. You rated the noodles 10 out of 10 and the risotto 9 out of 10. But the risotto was so creamy. Okay well you can change your mind. Okay actually no I'm remembering the taste of the noodles now. Yeah okay noodles two, risotto three, I'm going to go for soup four because it was spicy and creamy and this five which is sad because this is really good. Chili's quite a basic meal. Yeah the the other ones were a bit something we'd not quite done before. Yeah. Which is why I like them a lot. We eat chili like we've eaten it hundreds of times. Just because it's so easy. Yeah.
