The Hai Ba Trung Temple before the opening ceremony

Marking 1986 years since the Trung sisters uprising. The uprising took place in, from 5 to 40 AD, everyone. Today, please join me, as I explore the space, the grounds of, the Hai Ba Trung Temple. Right here, before we reach the gate, there is a sign, commemorating. Starting 40 AD to 2026, makes it 1986 years. Spring of now, 2026. Please, join me inside the temple. This is the way in. The Tam Quang gate is concrete built, with massive stone pillars. These pillars are made entirely of stone, combined with concrete and cement. Let's head into the temple grounds. The temple area is very spacious. The first place we reach is the Trinh Shrine. The Hai Ba Trung festival lasts several days, starting on the sixth day of the lunar new year. But from the fourth, and today on the fifth, I've seen crowds already visiting to celebrate spring. In front of the temple lies a large stage for the commemorative ceremony. And the opening ceremony will take place tomorrow, everyone. Now, please, join me inside the temple. As we enter the courtyard, directly before us are four pillars. Four large stone pillars, inscribed with Han characters. This is called the outer gate, everyone. Here is the outer gate. The entrance is on the right, and the exit is on the left. But since it's festival time, we'll use the main gate. This is what we call the outer gate. We are now entering the Hai Ba Trung temple grounds. Before the temple lies a crescent lake. This is the crescent moon lake. This is where people come to offer incense. A place to pay respects to the sisters and the deities. From the courtyard, we face the temple. Moving over to the right side. And here on the left side of the temple. There is a pond. This isn't the crescent lake, but the elephant eye lake. To the left and right are the shrines of their parents. Let's move on to explore the temple grounds. Here is the shrine for the sisters' father. Surrounded by tat and spring scenes with kumquat trees. In the distance, there's a bell tower and a drum tower. We're moving toward the elephant eye lake. Then we arrive at the entrance to the sisters' temple. Next, let's head to the shrine for their parents. And here is the shrine for their mother. Located on the left and right sides. Let's continue exploring the temple grounds. The temple complex is very spacious. In the distance, there's a bush of yellowing tea plants. It's a beautiful bush, everyone. And before us is the courtyard in front of the heroine's temple. The Trung sisters' uprising was nearly 2,000 years ago. Leaving an enduring spirit of defiance and pride. These are ceramic jars and glazed bowls from that era. They date back to the Lu Trung Hung period, everyone. These ceramic bowls are from the Lu Trung Hung era. This area displays the brushes and ink stones. The scholars are practicing calligraphy here. Everyone is showing great interest in Vietnamese culture.
