Most parents know to watch for the obvious red flags, like missed milestones, no words or not walking. But the ones that slip past are the ones that look completely normal. Some of them even look like good news.

So in this video I'm going through six subtle red flags that parents often celebrate or put down to "just a phase", and how to tell whether what you're seeing is completely normal, or a sign your little one could do with some extra help.

The good news is all of these are much easier to sort out when they're picked up early. So if something in here sounds familiar, try not to panic, just raise it with your child's doctor at their next appointment.
