Kaitlin Quevedo vs Elena Gabriela Ruse 2026 Iasi Round 1 WTA Match Highlights

Hello everybody and welcome to day two of the Unicredit Yesh Open as we are on the clay our first match features one of the home stars there walking out Elena Gabriela Ruse who's taking on the rising star in Caitlin Caveiro. That's a good start. Oh pinpoint accuracy you just wondered as the balls kept coming back she's not coming what a great finish that's been a well contested first two games first set in the end goes in favor of Caveiro quite quickly last three games complete contrast to the first few games of the opening set which were long battle between the players she pulled away to take it 6-3 able to save the game too good of those points having to play a second serve Caveiro before it even bounced second time ready to resume and we continue that's not a surprise I think we're seeing now she laced it down the line from outside the top first one really that's worked out it's long and it's a win for Caitlin Caveiro another win shall we say this season for a big campaign getting inside the top hundred and now beating one of the seeds in Yesh in Gabi Ruse scoreline may look routine 6-3 6-1 but it was anything but down a break in the first almost down two breaks and then that marathon game
