You always take such good care of me. You're all I have, Grandma. Grandma, are you all right? I'm fine, just a little tired. Good morning. Morning, Zoe. You'll be feeling better soon. Thank you. Could this really be true? Are you certain about this? Not yet, but we're going to find out. Find her. I'll start immediately. Hello? Your grandmother wasn't feeling well this morning. I'll come as soon as my shift ends. How are you feeling now? Better now that you're home. Whose picture is that? Someone from a long time ago. It's almost time for the truth. The investigation has begun. Don't overlook anything. Everything okay? I'm just worried about my grandmother. She'll be all right. You should take care of yourself, too. I'm trying. So... They're searching again. Keep an eye on everything. I want to know every move they make. Chase... We finally found a lead. Tell me everything. I should have searched sooner. One day, this will belong to you. What is it? Not yet. Mom... What were you trying to tell me? Make sure they find nothing. You shouldn't walk home alone this late. Thanks. I'd appreciate the company. I finally got you to smile. I needed that. Something's wrong, isn't it? Old secrets never stay buried forever. No matter where this leads, I want the truth. We'll find it. Promise me you'll always be brave. I promise, Grandma. The truth can't stay hidden forever. This document mentions Diana Moore. Keep investigating. You seem worried today. I feel like something is about to change. No one can discover what happened. What are you hiding? Nothing you need to worry about. I owe you the truth. You're not alone anymore. Thank you, Daniel. Grandma, was that Mom's picture? One day, I'll explain everything. Make sure this never reaches them. Understood. We found another record connected to Diana Moore. We're getting closer. You've been quiet all day. Some memories are difficult to revisit. What is it, Ruth? Nothing, just reminiscing. This secret must stay buried. You don't have to carry every burden alone. I'm trying to stay strong. You can too. There are still missing records. Find every one of them. Your mother treasured this. I'll keep it safe. You're afraid of something. You don't know what you're talking about. No matter what happens, I'll stand by you. That means more than you know. The truth is finally coming. Sir, we found someone who knew Diana. Arrange the meeting immediately. These records were hidden for years. No. Someone wanted the truth buried. Is that about mom? Not yet. Someday you'll understand. Whatever you're facing, you don't have to face it alone. Thank you. I needed to hear that. Keep watching them. Report everything. Oh. You've been acting differently. Some matters are better left alone. This address appears in Diana's records. Let's go there ourselves. Are you hiding something? Only memories that still hurt. You have to take care of yourself too. You're always looking out for me. I should have searched for the truth years ago. We're gonna find it now. This is where it all began. Let's find the answers. I remember Diana. She was a kind young woman. Can you tell us what happened? She disappeared suddenly after many arguments with the Kingston family. I never knew. You seem far away today. I can't explain it. I feel like something big is about to happen. What does that key open? When the time comes, you'll know. They're getting too close. You're hiding something from everyone. Drop it. Richard, you need to see this. I've wasted so many years. Very soon, you'll know the whole truth. I'll be ready. These documents could change everything. Then we protect them. They found something. This is becoming dangerous. Whatever you're facing, you don't have to face it alone. Thank you for always being here. Keep this safe. I'll protect it. The dates match perfectly. Someone deliberately covered this up. Are you still searching for the truth? I won't stop until I know everything. No mistakes this time. Understood? Your mother would be proud of you. I hope so. This could identify Diana's final meeting. We're finally getting close. I won't let them destroy everything I've built. Everything points back to the same person. Then we've been looking in the wrong direction. You look exhausted. It's more than work. I feel like my life is about to change. Promise me you'll read this only when the time is right. I promise. Who took it? What aren't you telling me about Diana? I've carried this secret for too long. God. I'm so sorry. No matter what happens, I'll be here. Thank you. That gives me strength. This wasn't in the official records. Someone removed it on purpose. They're moving faster than expected. Tomorrow, everything will begin to change. I'm ready to hear the truth. Keep looking. Diana risked everything for this. We're close. Edward always hides his secrets behind the painting. I found it. This is exactly where Diana said it would be. These files expose everything. Diana was telling the truth all along. Stop him! Don't let them leave! My son! Run, Marcus! Come on, Daniel! Close that door! This is everything my mother left behind. Dear God. I believe the wrong man. I failed my family. But it ends today. Everyone will attend the board meeting tomorrow. Whoever did this will answer for it. I swear it. Where were you last night, Victoria? I need the truth. You think I did this? Tell me who else could it be, Victoria. I may not have wanted her here, Richard, but I am not a murderer. I've been afraid of Edward for years. Ever since I found out what really happened to Diana. Edward paid off a mechanic 24 years ago. I found the wire transfer by accident. I was too afraid to ever say anything. I didn't have a choice. 24 years! You knew for 24 years! Richard, it wasn't my secret to tell. I was afraid of losing everything. I'm sorry, Richard. I'm so sorry. Deb! I did it. I couldn't tell you, Richard. No. Then we have enough to go to the police. Now. Between the ledger and Victoria's testimony, it's enough to open a real investigation. You knew. You knew they might come for you. She loved you before you ever took a breath, Zoe. Never forget that. Edward Kingston has been stealing from this company for years. If anything happens to me, this is why. My sweet girl. It's been so long. I know you must have so many questions. Daniel, they're outside. Zoe? What are you talking about? Help! We need to hide. Stay quiet, Grandma. What is that sound? Please. Stay quiet. Hand it over, and nobody gets hurt. You'll have to go through me first. Dad? Police! Drop it, now! Put your hands in the air! Not a chance! Freeze! He's going down the fire escape! Oh God, I thought we were dead! It's over now, Zoe. You're safe. I followed the sedan from the estate. I wasn't about to lose you, too. They came for one reason. This USB contains everything. From this moment, this becomes official evidence. It will remain protected, I promise you. They almost destroyed everything my mother left behind. But they didn't. Edward's men were trying to destroy the evidence. Let's verify every document before we make our move. Agreed. Every detail. The evidence is authentic. There is no doubt anymore. Edward, how could you? I failed both of them. Impossible. Destroy everything. If they have Diana's files, everything is finished. Leave the city tonight. Say nothing to anyone. Yes, sir. Every piece finally connects. Then help me make sure she finally gets justice. I will. Move in before he has a chance to run. It's I. It's over. And it's about to cost you everything, too. It's over, Grandma. They got him. Mom's name is finally clear. Oh, Zoe, thank goodness. 24 years. She can finally rest. I should have told you the truth years ago. I let fear cost us both so much time. I know. I understand now. You were afraid of a monster wearing my family's name, Victoria. I understand that now. You didn't just find the truth about your mother. You saved this whole family from him. I couldn't let him get away with it. We saved each other, I think. How are you holding up, really? I don't know. Better now that it's over. Now that you're here. Always. We're safe now, Zoe. I meant what I said. I'm not going anywhere, Zoe. Not after everything. Thank you, Daniel. Good. Because I'm done being afraid of what I want. From today forward, this company will be built on truth, not fear. I'd like you all to meet my daughter, Zoe Kingston. Thank you. It means the world to me. Thank you. I won't let any of you down. This is the beginning of a new Kingston Industries. Edward Kingston, this court finds you guilty on all charges. No. Your mother finally has justice. We did it, Mom. Everyone knows the truth now. I'm sorry it took me 24 years to find our daughter and the truth. She would have wanted us to be a family. Yes. Yes, you're right. Your mother would be proud of the woman you've become. For the first time, I finally believe that. Zoe, will you marry me? Yes. I never thought I'd find you. Yes, a thousand times, yes. Welcome home. Forever. Welcome home. Forever. This is only the beginning. The best beginning. Everyone together, smile, smile. Your mother should have been standing beside us today. I know. She is in every smile we're sharing today. This company will honor Diana's courage from this day forward. It's time. Today, Diana's truth becomes part of our family's legacy forever. Diana would finally be at peace. Yes, she would. Finally. They found their way. It's perfect. It really is. I'm glad we could do this. Me too. It means everything. This is where our future begins. Yes, it is.
