Tigers shortstop McGonigle makes All-Star Game debut

Thank you, thank you very much. How do you feel? I feel great. I'm actually from Philadelphia, so it's good to be back home, seeing family, friends, and just taking in the full first All-Star Game experience. Okay, so you grew up a Phillies fan? I grew up a Phillies fan, I did. Now a Detroit Tigers fan, of course. But yeah, I just can't really put into words how much this means to me, being first All-Star game in the hometown. It's super exciting. Do you have a favorite player when you were a kid? Chase Utley. Chase Utley, yeah. So, big fan of Chase Utley, and hope to see him at some point here. Okay, so do you have any favorite? I mean, all the guys. I'd say the biggest guy I want to talk to the most is Mike Trout, for sure. Big fan of Mike Trout. Oh, you were a big fan when he was a kid? Yeah. Okay. You buy that? He's actually from this kind of area, and I grew up watching him all the time. So, what he's done in this game is really special, and I want to pick his brain a little bit and see if that would help me in my career. Okay, thank you very much. Thank you.
