2026 Audi SQ8 - High-Tech Super Sport SUV!

Jul 13, 2026

The Audi SQ8 tries (and mostly succeeds) at being a triple threat. First, it's a performance machine with close ties to the Lamborghini Urus and some sporty styling elements that set it apart from the regular Q8. Second, it's a luxury vehicle with yards of leather, a trio of screens, and a bevy of driver-assistance and convenience features. And third, it's a family-friendly mid-size SUV with room for five and plenty of cargo space.

This isn't a vehicle for fuel-conscious shoppers—it has a thirsty twin-turbocharged V-8 under the hood and standard all-wheel drive—but it's good for 500 horsepower and a 3.6-second dash to 60. The SQ8 is also gifted with athletic handling and a smooth ride.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The price of the 2026 Audi SQ8 starts at $100.995 and goes up to $108.495 depending on the trim and options.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

Engine: 500-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8
Transmission: 8-speed automatic
Drivetrain: all-wheel drive

The SQ8 features the same 500-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, all-wheel-drive system, and eight-speed automatic transmission as the three-row SQ7. It's similarly athletic, too, with admirable handling characteristics.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

First Row: With diamond-stitched Valcona leather hugging the seat cushions and a trio of screens adorning the dash, the SQ8 looks every bit as swanky and modern inside as a six-figure vehicle should. Everything is well put together, and the standard panoramic sunroof helps to make the cabin feel airy.

Second Row: Three people can fit comfortably in the back, which shoppers can upgrade with seat heaters.

Cargo Capacity: Cubby storage is a bit lacking, but the SQ8 has a good amount of space behind the second row for all your gear. In our testing, the SQ8 fit nine carry-on suitcases in its cargo bay and a total of 28 with its rear seats folded.
