AI GeneratedReggie Ellis provides a snow report for Thursday, July 9th, noting that high pressure and active snowmaking have increased lift and terrain availability across the mountains. Following recent snowfall of 20-30cm, all resorts now have limited but quality skiing and boarding available. Sunny weather is expected through the weekend, with a new front bringing snow showers starting Sunday.
Hi, Reggie Ellis in Threadbaugh with the Mountain Watch Snow Report for Thursday July 9th
with thanks to XTM Performance. Well beautiful sunny day here in the mountains we've had this
high pressure system all week and with that the snow makers have been very busy and the result
has been more lifts and terrain opening as well. Of course we got that snow last weekend we saw
20 to 30 centimetres falling 1,700 metres up and with that all resorts now have some terrain
open. It is only limited but it is pretty good skiing and boarding on what terrain is available.
Threadbaugh being good skiing and boarding the last few days on High Noon open all the way down
to the village and also good around Walkabout and Ballroom in the cruiser area. Up in Perisher
they've opened the terminal chair over at Blue Cow also Front Valley with a great cover. Goat's
Gully looking pretty good and in Falls Creek more lifts and terrain have opened there as well. They've
got the summit happening at Mount Hotham and in Mount Buller they've added Skyline as well over
the last few days and Bourke Street with a good cover. Now if you're heading up for the weekend we
are going to see sunshine again over the next couple of days. Cold clear nights ahead of a front
coming through late Saturday night and at this stage it looks like we're going to see snow down to
the bottom on Sunday and those snow showers continuing through to next Tuesday Wednesday.
Check the Grasshoppers forecast tomorrow morning to make sure you're up to date on how that one
pans out. This has been Reggie Ellis in Threadbaugh for XTM Performance.
