So we go to five Kirtank happy barn rat.
Well, he's got it dancing around the whole.
Nice to see.
Paratore here at 8 yeah rock and
roll week for him.
Wally got right up there.
Couple of times and keeps drifting back.
He was three over on the back
line on the third day,
but that's much better from him.
Down the hill.
Plenty of pace or lines good.
Oh, everything is good.
Lovely, that's a bonus birdie at 2.
That's where it's going to take
someone to hold a few putts and he
hold absolutely nothing yesterday.
Duplicy.
Ashen, we can putt well,
but he's probably a little behind,
but you never know.
You never know with softer greens.
You will see a bit more of this today.
Two in a row.
You don't really know if it's going
to release with this wedge or not.
How good is this?
Yeah, I'm not sure that was possible.
That's a brilliant golf shot to
judge that with the front flag.
Birdie chance for Ashan.
Woo. Gone.
He's back with him three.
It's a great try going in you go.
There you go.
He knew what he was doing.
I cannot. I cannot say it was the right choice.
Never brilliant birdie delighted
for him gets himself a share of the lead.
Feesberger ties the lead at 13
under par with the birdie.
His first of the day.
174 with a nine iron.
Let's see who was right and who was wrong.
Well, he was pretty well right with that shot.
So we're not really seeing any wedges close.
Everyone's been short or long,
so maybe that was the plan.
Maybe to leave himself a full shot
to take the lead on his own.
Yeah, I fancy back to him there.
Definitely the better part of the
greens apart from across that green.
All of these greens are like that.
Nice move now for our leader.
Oh, lovely. Oh, go on.
I mean that is a birdie for sure.
That's a gimme.
It will be the fifth birdie of the day,
but they say the right radar.
This is playing over par today.
Always nice to see someone do that.
Obviously day day for you.
Don't really want them to do it,
but it gives you a nice visual sometimes.
Well, he's asking the question
for the two he's playing with
because they're not doing very much.
And if you can put his foot down
and get to that 16 number,
he'll have every chance.
Well, the wind off the left,
so you'll drift it back.
Should go over that middle bunker.
And it's still going up, I think Mark.
Always hit the starts.
OK, that's fine, that's fine.
Beautiful, so this burger finds the birdie.
To move one ahead after these burgers too.
But Wayne Riley will be very pleased to know
the whole is now playing under par
with those two birdies.
Can he recover from the poor chip?
Sometimes that's a hard thing to do.
Very nice hold nothing yesterday.
He looks a little more confident
on the greens today.
Now how about a couple of Eagles
and some very big cheers?
I was hoping to get to double figures
and he might just do that here.
Oh, what a moment.
Worth the wait.
He can play the game.
Let me tell you,
I think he will win a major championship soon.
I agree with you.
Really liking the briskness of this golf swing.
And a good shot right at it.
Oh, that's an ouch.
That is an uncomfortable three putt.
None of it, none of it.
I have a feeling for this man on the back nine.
He has got some swagger.
He's got some spirit
and that's two birdies in a row.
Incoming.
Yeah, great shot.
That's how good champions,
great champions respond to a three putt
on the previous green.
That's a brilliant shot.
That's a brilliant shot with the front flag.
You have to be very, very brave
to get that to finish under the hole.
Release down the hill.
Yeah, that's OK.
I thought he'd do better than that.
This for four in a row looking very good.
Well, you called it, Mark.
You have to make sure you release
the putter through impact,
otherwise you miss it low on the right side.
Yeah, lovely stroke.
However you view the bunker shot,
he got the birdie.
You have to take this 10, 12 feet to the right.
Go straight at it if you really want to.
He's done it.
He's back out in front on his own.
Any duplicity.
So we've been easy to whip this
straight over the back of the green.
You get this wrong
if it comes out a little lively.
Oh, that's fabulous.
It really is.
That is so well worked out.
Using the contours.
To Cola at the last.
He's got the walk forward.
It's got the Gary player walk forward.
Rory, I like that.
Oh, what a great shot.
What a truly great shot.
I love that walk forward.
It shows you weights transferred correctly.
That was really good.
Now, Holick.
Dead centre.
Much more difficult putt
than he made the previous hole
because it's breaking away from his feet
rather than towards his feet.
Just to get to 17.
Every time they catch him,
he keeps stepping out in front.
Any duplicity moves forward
once more with back to back birdies.
Need something special.
Visperger.
And he finds it at 14.
Duplicity 104 win straight behind,
even with a lofted wedge
you have to plan out one bounce.
Another dialed approach for any duplicity.
Yeah, Green's left to right,
but the hole's almost right to left.
That was never missing.
What a difference today, mate.
Jesse couldn't hold a beam today.
He's looked mega confident
and he is pushing Michael Holick
all the way to the finish.
99.
Can he get it back there?
One lively bounce and get it to stick.
Just like that.
Oh, Wally, you could be so right
and he hasn't made it.
How about those two putts he's just missed?
Makes both of those.
You're absolutely right, he's in it.
He does have a good touch
and he's played that nicely.
Kenny James is happy with that.
He was slightly concerned
he might just escape with a bogey.
His iron play has been pretty good all week.
It's been a strong part of his game.
Keep releasing.
He gets a hubcap.
This is not over yet, folks.
Here we go.
This is for a putt of your life.
And we've said it the last two days,
inside six feet,
he's looked as solid as a rock.
Game on.
Second here for Rosenmuller.
Don't get close.
Don't stop.
Don't stop!
It's going to be a fairytale finish.
Not the longest of hitters.
3.08 to carry.
The rough, the long.
Oh, that's a brave line.
Got it.
That was an early shout for going.
That's the hard pan.
That's OK.
It was only over by six feet.
Only.
Yeah, he is at the longest.
Yeah, you can see why he didn't go for 16.
Wonder whether he might keep himself there.
He's almost just hung it out to the right,
believing that it might be good enough.
But a 66 on Sunday,
he can be very, very proud of himself.
That's a great performance.
Having a go.
Six iron.
At the bunker.
If he flies it, all well and good.
Oh, god shot.
The iron shot at 17 and the iron shot at 18
are as good as you will ever see.
Moving on the DP World Tour.
Perseverance for you.
If there's no tears, I'll be megally surprised.
What a moment for Michael Hollick.
Michael, many congratulations.
You said to me yesterday at 39 years old,
this was just a dream come true to be on the DP World Tour.
Either you can dream a little bit more now.
You just won one of the most prestigious events
on the DP World Tour for BMW International Open.
Try and describe if you can how you're feeling.
I was actually very calm the whole day.
I kind of stuck to the same stuff I've done the whole week.
You know, you start making a few birdies
and it's easy to start thinking too far ahead
and I kind of brought myself back.
I just said to Dave, who carried for me,
I just said, you know, if I have a chance to win the tournament
playing in the back nine, that's what I want.
And funnily enough, yesterday when I went to bed,
I thought if I have a chance to make eagle on the last two in it,
that will be something.
Can I ask, when you bogey 16,
what are you thinking on the 17th tee?
Because you then put you two of the most amazing iron shots.
Yeah, I actually thought I was a bit far back.
I didn't really know what the scores were,
but I saw Hennie was going a bit up front.
I had two far vines, perfect far vines on 17 and 18.
Couldn't have asked for much more really.
This now gets you into next week.
You're already in the Open as well
and your schedule now completely changes for the rest of the year.
Just how excited are you for the rest of the year?
It's amazing, honestly.
Just given myself and my family such a good opportunity.
So, yeah, really looking forward to it.
About 14 years ago, you started on the Sunshine Tour
and you didn't break the top 50 for nine consecutive seasons.
Back then, could you have even wished what's happened today?
No.
No, like I said to you the other day,
four years ago, I kind of put the clubs in the cupboard
and started coaching.
Did a whole year of coaching full-time.
I played like 10 events on the Sunshine Tour.
I played quite well in those events,
but I was not into any of the big events.
Then started 2024 winning the Zimbabwe Open
and then I started finding my feet again,
won another two tournaments
and then started off the season nicely here.
So, yeah, your first year is tough.
It's all the unknown.
You're kind of just playing your heart out to keep a card
and give yourself another chance next year.
But, yeah, here we are.
Rookie season, Michael, and your main win comes here
at the BMW International Open.
Enjoy the celebration because I think that might be quite big.
Thank you. Yeah, I can't wait.
