Carving A Sleeping Owl In A Bonsai Tree!

So, here's the plan. To turn this birch burl into the tree in the design I made. And I'll have to adjust it a bit, because the burl doesn't really reflect the shape of the design I came up with. So, after thinking a bit, I decided that this would be the front-facing part of the tree. And I'll mount it in the bowl, with the bowl facing like this. So, now let's continue and make the root and the rest of the tree. Well, that was a bit stressful. The pin was too long when I tried to glue the parts together. But I managed to get them apart just in time before the glue set. So, let's try that again with our pinned outfits.
