That has to have been my best under $10 Goodwill Outlet haul ever. Good morning! Today we are
thrifting at the Goodwill Outlet where you pay by the pound. I have not been to the bins in so long
and I'm so excited to see what all we find. Got the essentials, a Hulkin bag, some Ikea bags,
and water bottles. It's really not that crowded especially considering that it's a day a lot of
people have off from work. It's probably because it's really hot in here. The plastic on the wall
is because they are doing renovations to add AC. Very funky fabulous vintage top. It feels like
linen or at least a linen blend. Some striped linen shorts from JGL's Love Linen line. I really like
this line of linen. It's usually pretty substantial and not see-through. Also have a little belt.
It is way too hot today to mess around with the new rotations. This is a gorgeous cashmere coat.
I see absolutely no imperfections on it. It's just so hot. It's hard to think about wearing
something like cashmere. Linen pants. Touch. This is an Anthropologie label. It's a one-shoulder
midi dress. Striped linen pants. This cotton dress would be perfect for the fourth but I
already thrifted an outfit for it. Love the colors on this Ralph Lauren button-up. Cute little floral
puff sleeve top. Free people vest. Look at this lace tablecloth. I am so excited. I've been wanting
some lace to sew with. I have quite a few projects. I want to make a bag and I've also seen some tops
on free people and I'm like we could probably make those. This is a lot of fabric to work with.
It kind of smells a bit like an attic. I'm assuming it's vintage but if I still get an
oxyclean, give it like a nice hot wash, I think it'll be fine. No one is looking at the jackets.
I don't blame them. I'm sweating too but look at this. A beautiful soft leather jacket. Feels like
lambskin. I don't think it is but really great condition. No scratches. It is actually lambskin.
Such a cool vintage denim button-up. More bedazzled denim. This tag just looks so vintage and I
immediately felt the material and thought that too. I do think the bedazzling was added more
recently. Some men's Lululemon but it looks too small for Lucas. More lace to work with. I found
three panels of lace curtains. Y'all know I'm a sucker for this color and I love this midi dress.
It's so cute. I don't know if I'm the biggest fan of the knit top. I'd have to try it on and see how
it looks but I love the bottom, the cotton skirt, the eyelet details. I feel like it's worth a try.
An embroidered cotton halter dress. This is perfect for summer. Shut the front door. Look at this shell
bag. I do not see any shells missing or even chips. It's got little beading on the sides, a metal
handle. Let's check the inside. The inside is nice and clean too. This is gonna be my bag of the summer.
It is so fabulous. Cotton maxi skirts are truly my favorite thing to throw on in the summer
and I actually really like the pink tie-dye. I usually don't love tie-dye but this one's kind of
fun. Oh my goodness. I remember reading Goodnight Moon as a kid. Goodnight Houston. This is precious.
Herman Park. Goodnight spicy tacos and juicy barbecue. 100% silk. A knit knee-length skirt.
I feel like this is giving Missoni a kids Patagonia. Some craft stuff in this bin. Embroidery
stabilizer. I wonder if this would work for beading projects. I have quite a few that I want to do but
I need beads too but I might get that. And then some patterns and water soluble embroidery film.
I might also try this one. Lots of vintage curtains in these older bins. I think these
would work great for sewing projects. Nice set of pillows. Trying to find lots of practice fabric
for sewing projects. I thrifted a vintage towel last week and I don't want to do my first project
with the towel on that towel because I will probably mess it up. I'm still very much learning
when it comes to sewing and unfortunately I learned the hard way that I should be doing a
practice round first. I made a pair of pants the other week. I'd never made pants before. I cut the
pattern slightly wrong and I don't know if I'm going to be able to salvage them as pants. I
probably as I get better can turn them into something else but I need practice fabric and
this stained towel will work great. 100% cotton piece of fabric. Pretty good sized piece of
material to work with. Kind of just reminds me of a flat sheet. Nothing crazy. Cute little floral
pattern though. This is an old curtain. I think that the fabric would be perfect to use for patio
furniture. I just wish there were two because this definitely is not enough fabric to use
for two really big couch cushions. Some more lace but I don't like this lace as much as the other
lace I've picked up. I've seen a lot of fun projects with ties recently and you can almost
always find ties at the bins. This one's really nice. It's 100% Italian silk. The tie projects
are just not super high on my priority list so I don't need to get too many project supplies or
otherwise I'll feel overwhelmed. Some Uggs. This is such a fabulous leather bag. I love the little
wooden beads and studs. I am seeing some discoloration in the leather. It's on the other
side too. The inside looks pretty clean. I don't need it. Really neat woven denim vintage vest. I
usually find fabric at the bins but I feel like I'm finding more than normal today. I love the
fruit on this. Beautiful red color. Not the biggest fan of that blue and I really like this one.
It's definitely the smallest chunk though. This fabric just had a very vintage feel. It definitely
is. Look at that tag. Little plaid dress. The store closes for a 30 minute reset at 11 30
so I have to go through my cart really quick and figure out what all I actually want to get.
The two things I'm really debating are the cashmere coat and the lambskin leather jacket. I
don't really need either of them. They're just so nice. It's hard to leave behind. These are the
final selections. That has to have been my best under $10 goodwill outlet haul ever. I cannot
believe all that I got. I'm shook. It was $9 including tax and roundup. This seashell bag
alone I would have paid $10 for. Also all the lace and the fabric. The lace and fabric and scarves
were rung up as miscellaneous so they were only $1.19 a pound and then I even got the leather
jacket. It kind of makes the heat worth it. That was so fun. I think I'm gonna go back in after I
have some electrolytes and a snack. I specifically want to look for towels to take to the animal
rescue. I used to do that pretty consistently because I went to the bins pretty much every
single month so whenever I found some decent towels I would get them and then take them and
I haven't been doing that because I haven't been going to the bins so I feel kind of bad now that
I'm thinking about it. So I want to go back and get a bunch of towels and maybe I'll find a few
other things when we run back in. I also have to go by regular Goodwill because if you're looking
and you're like why do you have a bunch of wood slats in your car? Well it's my old bed frame. I
have been filming a bedroom redecorate with me but that's definitely an overtime project so
I don't know when that'll come out but it's a work in progress. My bedroom was really ugly
but it's getting better. Before I head out thrifting or running errands I always like to
make sure I bring a drink with me to stay hydrated especially in the heat this summer.
Ultima has been making it so easy to do just that. These things are delicious. I've already drank so
much of this one that I just mixed up. They're electrolyte packets without the added junk. There's
no artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, anything like that. They have no calories.
They're actually sweetened and colored with plant-based ingredients and they're low sodium
which I think is really nice because I find that sometimes I don't need all the extra salt that's
in some electrolyte packets and these don't have that salty aftertaste or make me feel bloated.
They're just so so so good. One of my favorites from the original variety pack is the lemonade
that I just mixed up. That's probably why I've been drinking it so much and then the tea fresher
variety pack. Amazing. There's such a variety. So many different options. These things are so good.
I always throw a few extras in my bag so I have them with me while I'm out and about.
I love these things. I think you'll like them too. I'll have the link here on screen
as well as down below in the description and you can use the code curatednatalie20
for an additional 20% off to stay hydrated with Ultima Replenisher.
Big thank you to Ultima for sponsoring today's video. Back for round two. There's a bunch of
random crap in the hard good bins but I did spot this dry L box and I use this stuff to DIY dry
clean my clothes. I don't know how much it is new. It's not super expensive but it's also not cheap.
This doesn't really look used. Is it disgusting if I buy this because it would be maybe max like
$1.50. Funky little Zara dress. Grayson. This is a Frank and Eileen label. Just a striped cotton
button up. Oh my goodness look how fun this is. A pink crochet poncho. It even has little beads in
It's way too hot in here after 1pm but I pulled all the flat sheets and towels from old picked
over bins and I have a nice bag full and a couple of other things. I'm just trying to figure out
what I want to get versus leave behind. This poncho. Is it made for a child? I don't know.
It's cute though. And then this skirt. I really like the style but I don't like the color and
the pattern so I'm thinking I might get it and use it as a template to make my own and then I can
just re-donate this one because buying patterns online is 1. Kind of expensive and 2. Kind of
annoying because it requires a lot of printing and taping and I feel like I could just use this as a
reference. I'm avoiding all the laundry now from the bins by sitting in my car for an extra minute.
The second round I did spend double but it doesn't really count because it wasn't for me. I spent
$22. I guess that's more than double. I got 15 pounds of linens and then 1 pound of clothing
items for myself. I do need to go do the laundry. I also really want to shower. I feel disgusting.
The bins without AC is not it. I thought about thrifting after I dropped off my donations but
no. Everything is cleaned and I steamed the clothing items I picked up so let's do a little
try on and haul. I'm really interested to see what ends up working out because I did not try on much
while I was there. It was just so hot and sticky. I wasn't in the mood to put much on my body. I have
already put on the button-up though. This is fabulous. I love a good button-up. There's such
a staple in my closet and this striped one is so different from any that I already own. It actually
really reminds me of one that I picked up a couple of months ago when I was thrifting officewear
looks for a short video and I was really trying to show options and give people ideas of what to
thrift and somehow some way I ended up accidentally putting that piece back and I have just regretted
it ever since but it's okay because it came back to me. This is either exactly the same or just
really close. I don't know either way very very happy about this. I also want to say if I sound
a bit off you might understand why if you watched the video before this one. I was so deathly sick
a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sick anymore. I ended up having a sinus infection. I've already
been on antibiotics for at least a week now but I feel like I just still sound a bit off. Just
want to acknowledge that I am better but still kind of recovering. I guess I just have a long
history of sinus issues. If you've been here for a really long time, I also had sinus surgery back
in the winter because I thought that that would solve all my issues. It has not so we shall
persevere. Let's try these pieces on the knit skirt. Are you kidding me? This is so high-end
looking you would think it was designer. Maybe it is. I don't really know the brand. It's so chic
and I just have a couple of basics in here to try stuff on. This is a black linen halter top from
quince and then my black sandals and the seashell bag for a fun accessory and that's kind of a look
in my opinion. This is so good. I knew it had potential. The tie-dye maxi skirt is somehow
also even better than I imagined. I feel like I'm just ready to go on a tropical vacation.
The linen shorts. Couldn't these pass for like free people or some other trendy brand?
And they're even better because J. Jill linen is really good in my opinion. It's very soft. It's
not see-through and these are cute. I'm excited. They're a little bit too big but I'm able to
easily hide that with the belt and this top and I can definitely go back and make a more permanent
alteration later. The green dress. This actually fits really well. I was so concerned about the
knit top on it for some reason. I think it looks fine. It probably would just be a little bit hot
to wear in the summer. However, I wear dresses for work all the time and I'll just wear something
like this with a cardigan and call it a day. I kind of forgot that this was even in my cart. I
threw it in as a maybe to look at a little harder but I didn't end up looking at my maybes that hard
because I was rushing. It works pretty well for having not even measured it. I'm pleasantly
surprised. There's a couple things I want to do. It's a little big through the chest so I want to
extend the darts up a little higher to kind of take that in and then there's a rip along the seam
but other than that it's really cute. I love the pattern and the color and I think it actually
really works with these sandals that I picked up a few weeks ago. The poncho. I'm so glad I ended
up picking this up. I don't know why I was kind of convinced that it was for a kid. It's hard to
tell sizing because there's no mirrors. I just have to either look back at like my little screen on my
camera or use my phone and like take a picture of myself or rely on strangers to be like, hey like
what do you think? But I'm glad I trusted my gut because this is so fabulous. The leather jacket.
This was kind of a sympathy impulse purchase. It's just too nice to throw back into the bins and
nobody was looking at the jackets. I also kind of wanted to do the same with the cashmere coat but
that's a little bit of a bigger storage issue. This I can just tuck away with my other leather
jackets. I've never struggled to give away a leather jacket other than to like friends, family,
whoever wins the style bundle. If this ends up being their size and something that they want
I'm gonna find a new home for this baby. Everything else that I ended up getting.
I got two silk scarves. This long one and this red square one. I also did get a polyester scarf.
I usually will pass these up but I really liked the pattern and color on this one. I think it'll
work really well for a DIY scarf top I want to make. I got a lot of sewing stuff. This skirt
to use as a pattern. This stained towel for a practice project. This fabulous vintage towel for
a real project. I cannot decide which side I like better. Yellow with white or white with yellow.
This lace tablecloth. Three sheer lace curtain panels and six chunks of actual fabric to work
with. This sewing pattern. The pants do not look too complicated so I'm really excited to try it
out. I did get the embroidery stabilizer. I really don't know if it's necessary for the embroidery
projects that I want to do. If I don't end up using it I'll give it away to somebody that
actually has an embroidery machine. And then this big old bag of towels, sheets, and blankets for
the animal rescue. That's everything I got at the Goodwill Outlet. I feel like this was a pretty
good haul. But you tell me. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below or what your
favorite find was. The total for everything, both trips, was $31. I do want to remind everyone I'm
doing a teacher's style bundle giveaway. I announced this in last week's video and I'll be
choosing the giveaway winner five days from when this video goes live. Basically what it is is a
$150 budget thrifted personalized style bundle for whoever wins. I'm also including a couple of
things as well but those will be a surprise. All you have to do to enter is email me. Use the
subject line teacher style bundle. I'll have everything listed so it makes things a little
bit easier to keep track of. Let me know a few things about yourself, specifically your YouTube
username, what grade or subject that you teach. If you don't hold the title teacher but you're
still involved and work with K-12 schools, feel free to also enter. I know there's so many other
roles that help a school to function. The one requirement is that you're involved with a K-12
school just for the sake of this specific giveaway. Let me know where you live, what city,
what state and comment on this video. It doesn't have to be related to the style bundle at all. I
just have to know that you're active on my channel. I will request a couple of things from whoever
wins. Number one, I will need inspo within a few days of you winning. If it's something that you
are able to put together yourself, please do and then I'll let you know a few other things like
measurements, preferences. I'll have a list. If mood boards, inspo boards is something you
kind of struggle with, I'm happy to also help put one together but I need to kind of understand
what you're going for. And then I will request feedback on the actual bundle within a couple
weeks of you getting it. What you like, what you don't like, what fits, what doesn't fit.
If you are able, I would really love pictures. If you want to do a video, you're welcome to. I
know not everybody's comfortable on camera so I'm not going to request that at all but I just want
to be able to update people on the thoughts and kind of give a full circle from thrifting it,
giving it and everything. If you entered before today's video went live and you were a part of
the bonus entries, I'm just going to count your entry twice. I think that that'll just be the
easiest way to go about it. And if this goes well, I really want to do this for any and every
subscriber, like make a giveaway a thing. I thought that this would just be fun to help kick
off the new school year. Please enter, I'm excited, I think it'll be fun. Thank you guys so much for
tuning into my channel. Once again, I cannot wait to be back with you again soon. Bye!
