This video features a tour of a move-in-ready home in the Victory at Verado community in Buckeye, Arizona. The presenter highlights the active 55+ lifestyle, the specific features of a K Hovnanian \"Cardinal\" floor plan, and the extensive amenities and shopping options available in the surrounding West Valley area.
One of the questions I get from people relocating to Arizona is,
what community do you find yourself recommending over and over again?
And honestly, Victory at Verado in Buckeye, Arizona is always on that list.
It's not just because the homes are beautiful here,
it's because Victory has a personality all of its own.
It's the atmosphere, it's the white tank mountains surrounding the community,
neighbors that drive their golf carts instead of cars,
people meeting friends for coffee on Main Street,
live music, farmers markets, holiday events,
and miles of walking trails, golf, pickleball.
There's just an energy here that's really hard to explain
until you experience it yourself.
Today we're touring one of Victory's golf course homes,
and I think what makes this one so special is the setting.
It sits right along the golf course with beautiful open views,
and from the moment you walk inside, those views become part of the home.
It's also in a really convenient location within the community.
You're just a small golf cart ride to the Victory Golf Club,
where you're going to find those resort pools, the fitness center,
spa, pickleball, tennis, restaurants,
and all of the activities that make Victory such an active place to live.
Today's home was built by K Hovnanian in 2024,
and it's their very popular cardinal floor plan.
It has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms,
it's just over 2,100 square feet, and it has a two and a half car garage.
It sits on nearly an 8,000 square foot golf course lot overlooking the third hole,
and it has more than $60,000 in builder upgrades.
It's completely move-in ready.
So if you're looking for something on the golf course that's move-in ready,
this just might be the one.
So let's head inside.
So before we head inside, I just kind of wanted to show you,
we're on a golf course lot.
So you've got a lot of space on the left-hand side of this house.
You've got all your front landscaping done, the rear landscaping is done.
You've got your paver driveway here all the way up to your front door.
Also, pavers on your side yard where your trash is stored, which is nice.
There's your cute little golf cart garage.
Everybody in Victory drives around on a golf cart.
Let's head inside.
The moment you walk through the front door,
your eyes go straight through the house and out to the golf course in the backyard.
The design of this floor plan is to pull your attention outside
because here in Arizona, we get to spend so much time outside.
And one thing I like to point out is orientation.
This backyard faces east.
That means you're going to have beautiful morning sunrises
while you're out on your patio having coffee.
And then it's going to be shaded in the afternoons during our Arizona summers.
And that's a really nice feature to have.
And as you can tell, there's a lot of shade on this patio right now.
So it's almost 11 o'clock in the morning right now, and there's still shade here.
So you just get to wake up on your patio, have your coffee, enjoy the sunrise.
And then all morning long, you're pretty much in the shade on this patio.
So that's really a nice feature.
This kitchen is nice and open.
As you can tell, here's where your dining table would be.
And then this is your great room.
This is just a nice open space for entertaining.
It's off of this huge glass slider.
You have automatic shades on all of these windows here.
I love the colors in this kitchen.
I love the cabinet color.
It's kind of like a burlap.
Then you've got this really nice, bright pop of white on the countertops here.
Nice big window over there, over your sink.
Soft close cabinets.
You've got your GE appliances here.
Double oven, pantry, big sink here.
You are on gas as well.
You've got your microwave over there.
And this one also, I like to point out, has a place for your trash.
There's lots of great storage in this kitchen.
And then you're just overlooking your great room there.
So you're just a part of the action.
Off your kitchen is a powder over here.
And that has a door to the outside.
And we'll come back to that in a minute.
We'll head out to our two-car garage.
You've got this nice little landing area here for your shoes and jackets.
And then this is off of your laundry room here.
This is a nice sized laundry room.
Notice your wood look tile flooring that's throughout the home, except in your bedrooms.
You've got our standard two-car garage out here.
And you have soft water, your regular water heater here.
And then we will head down here to split floor plan.
So these two bedrooms of the three total are over here.
And they are split from your primary.
So this is bedroom number one.
Kind of your standard closets there.
This comes into our bathroom that these share.
So you have your bathroom number one here with your tub and tile.
And then here is our bedroom two of three.
Nice and bright.
You have a window out to the side on that side yard.
So still nice and private.
Standard closet in here.
You do have carpet.
Kind of a berber in here.
And then we will head over to this coat closet, which is right off of your front door.
And then we'll head over to our primary.
Heading over to our primary, again, here's your powder.
And then our primary bedroom here overlooking the golf course.
This room does not have carpet in it.
So this is tile.
Got some boys out there playing as we speak.
It's a Sunday.
It's a beautiful day here in Arizona.
It's about 91 degrees at the end of June.
Just everybody getting out into the sunshine and enjoying it before
our really tough summer days start.
But for the most part, I mean, we had a nice beautiful morning, 78 degrees.
Everybody was out walking their dogs, riding their golf course, getting coffee.
Just really beautiful.
Here's your closet.
This is a nice size closet in here.
Nice, beautiful shower as well.
And we'll head out to our backyard.
As you can see, these sliders open all the way up.
You've got this nice outdoor kitchen out here with your built-in barbecue.
And I love how they did this wall along here just for some added privacy here.
So it just feels nice and private in here.
You've got a little fireplace.
And then you've got this nice sized backyard here.
This is definitely large enough that you could have a pool if you wanted.
Again, this is almost 8,000 square feet here.
And again, it overlooks the third hole.
You are on the green here.
So you can have lots of entertainment as well if you wanted.
Really beautiful space out here.
Nice and quiet.
Really peaceful.
And if you have pets, you can do what the neighbors did here and put up a view fencing here.
That way you don't have critters coming in.
If you don't have pets and you don't mind the critters, like javelinas, we have bobcats,
we have coyotes.
If you don't mind that kind of stuff, you can leave this open.
A lot of people will, though, put up the view fencing and then also put up the snake fencing.
Because when you live on a golf course and you live next to kind of open space like this,
where you have kind of this desert, you can get some critters.
And we definitely have rattlesnakes here in Arizona.
So it's just something to consider.
Also, you do have gas out here.
So if you wanted to add a fire pit out here, you could.
You've got your TV, ceiling fans, lighting.
It's a great entertaining area here.
One other thing I wanted to mention about this half bath is,
let's say you did put in a pool or you have people over.
You've got this half bath right off of your patio, which makes it nice.
Because then, you know, you don't have to have people
going all the way through the home.
They can just come right here and use your little half bath.
One thing I always tell buyers is, if you're comparing resale to new construction,
don't just compare price.
Compare everything that's already been done for you.
The lot, the landscaping, the window treatments, the ceiling fans, the outdoor living space.
Those are all things that can add up quickly after you move in.
Here's what I love about this home.
It's also one of the biggest reasons that people choose Victory,
and that is the proximity to the amenities.
One of my favorite things about Victory is that you can be as active or relaxed as you want to be.
Some mornings, you're going to see people heading to the fitness center.
Others are meeting friends for pickleball or golf.
Or in the evening, people are getting to the restaurant for dinner and a drink,
and they're going to watch the sunset.
There's always something going on,
but it never feels like you have to participate, if that makes sense.
If you love the outdoors, you've also got miles of walking trails,
and one of Victory's most recognizable landmarks, the Victory Steps.
It's over 340 railroad ties that climb the hillside,
and it becomes a daily challenge for a lot of residents.
Victory is the 55-plus portion of Verado,
and that is one of the things that makes this community unique.
You're not living in a separate retirement community that's disconnected from everything else.
You're part of the larger Verado community, too.
And as a Victory resident, you have access to all of Verado's amenities.
Main Street is just a few minutes away,
so it's easy to hop in your golf cart or go in your car for coffee, dinner.
Farmer's markets are one of the community events that happen throughout the year.
For everyday life, you've got several grocery options within about 10 minutes,
including bashes, fries, and soon Safeway at Verado Marketplace.
Verado Marketplace is a new shopping center that is really transforming this side of Buckeye
with Target, Harkins Theaters, restaurants, and more businesses opening all the time.
And if that's not enough, Costco, Sprouts, Home Depot,
Dick's Sporting Goods, and plenty of additional restaurants are also right in that same area.
Healthcare is also close by, with both Banner and Abrazo Medical Offices nearby,
with dental care, veterinarians, coffee shops, and everyday services.
Pretty much everything you need.
Victory is one of those communities where you can really stay close to home most days,
but getting anywhere else in the valley is still very convenient
because we have great freeway access here to both the I-10 freeway and the Loop 303 freeway.
You know, every time I come out to Victory,
I realize people aren't just moving here for a beautiful home.
They're moving here because they want a certain kind of lifestyle.
Maybe that's mornings on the golf course, afternoons at the clubhouse,
or evenings on the patio watching the sunset,
or just living somewhere that feels active and connected.
And I think that's what makes Victory so special.
