The Real Reason Kids Meltdown Over Nothing How to Stop It
Ever had one of those days where the biscuit breaks and your toddler completely loses it, but the day before, the exact same thing didn't bother them in the slightest?
It's confusing. And it can leave you feeling like their meltdowns come out of nowhere. But they don't. The broken biscuit was never really the problem.
In this video, I explain what's actually behind these meltdowns, and what you can do to prevent them. Picture your toddler carrying an invisible backpack around all day. Little stresses drop in like rocks, and that broken biscuit? It's just the last pebble that makes the whole thing too heavy to carry.
The good news is some of the heaviest rocks are completely in your control - so once you know what they are, you can keep them out of the bag.
And when you keep enough of them out, your child has the space to cope with everything else the day throws at them, which means far fewer meltdowns and a much calmer, more predictable toddler.
As always, I hope this helps!
