The BBC has always acted with a degree of arrogance about the quality of its own journalism. The people who are putting together the documentaries, be it on Trump, be it on transgender issues, be it on Gaza, have a worldview that they think is right. The solution, as far as they're concerned, is to silence, is to shame, is to cancel. This is a telegraph right-wing plot to destabilise the BBC. There is a genuine concern about editorial standards and mistakes. There is also a political campaign by people who want to destroy the organisation that you are currently listening to. We're going to walk down to the Capitol and I'll be there with you and we fight. We fight like hell. If we had done that to footage of Biden, can you imagine the different people that would be calling for the channel to be shut down, rather than being defensive and crying mutiny and coup, maybe take a look at what is being alleged?
