how to make iced tea that actually tastes good
happy saturday and welcome back to the weekly vlog primas :)
i am SOOO EXCITED!!!! to share this video with you this week
i get so many requests for iced tea videos etc and i hope this one was enough to scratch that itch for ya!!
i genuinely have so much fun making tea and trying new flavors it is an endless possibility of fun!! especially living in Arizona now where it's constantly warm, cold brews have been my jam!!
here are the two links if you guys are interested in some fruit teas!
the greenteahouse: https://www.thegreenteahouse.com/loos...
culinary teas: https://culinaryteas.com/DAYSWITHABRIL (i do earn comission from this specfic link, you get 5% off at checkout!)
as for the dried hibiscus flowers, you can find these at almost any local mexican/hispanic grocery store, or i've even seen them at grocery outlet and walmart if you live near one!
i'm gonna leave the recipes that i made down here if you would like to visually see them:
COLD BREW:
1 whole lemon
1 whole lime (remember this is very citrus heavy so feel free to opt out or use your fruit of choice)
2 pineapple ginger tea bags
1 mango tanergine turmeric tea bag
24 oz of water
let sit in fridge overnight and sweeten as you'd like!
PEACH CITRUS GREEN TEA:
1 tazo peachy green tea bag
juice of one lime
1-2 tbs of agave
8oz of boiled water
HONEY ORANGE BLACK TEA:
1 tazo English breakfast tea
juice of one orange
1-2 tbs honey
8oz of boiled water
COCONUT HIBISCUS TEA:
1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers (OR 2 tazo passion tea bags)
6oz boiled water
1/3 cup coconut milk
1-2 tbs maple syrup
BLACK MILK TEA:
2 tazo English breakfast tea bags
6oz boiled water
1-2 tbs maple syrup
1/3 cup of coconut milk
i use the same water amount for every single serving tea i make (unless they require milk then it's 6oz), and i let the tea steep for 5 minutes to ensure great flavor! (read the back of your tea bag for specific instructions)
it's always 8oz of boiled water and i make sure to pour it over lots of ice
use a metal spoon so it can collect the heat and leave you
with extra cold tea!!
see you next week :)
