I think for a lot of creatives, artists and deep thinkers--even people who think outside the box, who are quirky or outside the "norm"--being comfortable feeling seen is a very daunting thing. Thinking differently makes you who you are. But what happens when who you are is misunderstood by most people around you? Then you might get the message that it's better to keep to yourself, stay in your head...over and over again.
But that might just be your perspective. And maybe, you're keeping yourself from living a bigger, more vivid life. Because thinking can be a very comfortable proxy for actually living. And we love our headspace, don't we?
