So long Aquamarine and Jade! Aquamarine, a green sea turtle, was found floating with acute hypothermia near Honeymoon Island on Jan. 21. During this turtle's stay in our rehab hospital, Aquamarine was battling an infection that was resolved with antibiotics! Jade, a green sea turtle, was found stranded with acute hypothermia on Sand Key on Feb 13. During Jade’s initial rehab period, they we’re experiencing neurological symptoms of unknown causes and struggled in deep water. With treatment, these issues were resolved and Jade was cleared for release.

Our team also traveled to the east coast this week to release three more turtle patients!
