This video outlines a high-speed AI side hustle strategy focused on becoming a \"pickaxe seller\"โsomeone who helps businesses implement AI tools like Claude into their existing workflows. By leveraging YouTube for distribution and focusing on high-demand topics rather than production quality, individuals can generate income through AdSense, affiliate marketing, and high-ticket coaching.
So by the end of this video, you're going to know the fastest cloud AI side hustle to your first
$1,000, and it is not the one being shoved down your throat right now. It's not freelancing,
it's not selling prompts, it's not building the next AI app, and it's definitely not building
some complicated automation. It's becoming the person who actually implements AI into something
that's already working, but only in a very specific way. Now, I've seen these trends happen
again and again. I've made over $10 million myself, and my community members have made
over $100 million, and I've seen this happen over and over again. Whenever the newest technology
comes out, there's a playbook that works time and time again. And this is a playbook that dates back
hundreds of years, and my community members have used it over and over again to make their first
$1,000. Now, one of these community members is my own brother. He's in his 50s, and he'd never made
money outside of his career in his entire life. 29 days later, after starting the side hustle,
he was making a full-time income. So if he can do it as someone who's in his 50s and he's not
tech savvy, then you've got no excuse. And before the comments fill up with,
AI is just hype, half the slop that you're scrolling past is hype. I totally agree with you.
It's a lazy garbage from people who've never earned a damn dime in their life and have no
idea what they're talking about. But this is the honest, unsexy version, right? It's not overnight.
It's not magic, but it's no, just the one move that pays the fastest. So if you appreciate me
actually testing this AI for YouTube content creation, instead of selling you a fantasy,
then go ahead, gently cheers that like button and let's jump into it right now.
All right. So first let's talk about what I like to call the pickaxe play. So let me tell you about
the guy who got rich the fastest in the 1800s, California gold rush. His name was Sam Brannan,
and he'd never mined a single ounce of gold. Now in 1848, gold gets discovered near Sutter's Mill
and Brannan owns the only store between San Francisco and those gold fields. So before
he tells a single soul, he quietly buys up every pickaxe, every shovel and every pan in the entire
city. Then he runs through the streets of San Francisco, waving a bottle of gold dusk, screaming
gold, gold from the American river. And he didn't start that rush to help anybody. He started it
because he owned all the shovels. He bought pans for 20 cents and he sold them for $15. And in nine
weeks he'd made about $36,000, which is over a million and a half in today's money. And he became
the very first millionaire in California without ever touching a pickaxe to find gold himself.
So the fastest money in a gold rush has never gone to the miners breaking their backs. It goes to the
person selling the pickaxes and pointing at the gold, but that's not even where the biggest money
is. See, there's a second guy worth knowing named Levi Strauss, and he showed up during that same
rush and he didn't mine either. He sold the supplies to the miners as well, but he did even
more than that. He created the famous Levi's jeans. And Levi's jeans became a symbol of the
gold rush. It was basically marketing for people who were serious about mining gold. So you've got
two ways to play any gold rush. You can grab a pickaxe, get in line with everybody else and pray
that you hit something. That's like trying to use AI to launch the next one in a billion app,
or you can sell the pickaxes, AKA something that can pay you for decades. And that's like helping
people implement AI into their companies. Now that second option is basically infinitely more likely
for you to have success. Building apps is a winner-take-all market. There's so few of them
that actually succeed, and you never see the millions that failed. And hey, if you want to
do that, you can do it, but you better be really, really good. And chances are you're going to rely
on luck, just like the people who are mining for gold. But there's a third option that's even
better than the first two, and it actually works in conjunction with the first two. And that's the
Levi Strauss route, which is talking or marketing about mining the gold, or in this particular
technological advancement when it comes to AI, and specifically niching down and talking about
how you can use AI in different niches, verticals, or industries. See, Levi Strauss benefited from
the gold rush because everybody had to buy his jeans, because normal trousers would get ripped
up way too fast if you were mining or panning for gold. But he took it one step further and
he started marketing so he would get more people to mine the gold. And that's exactly what basically
every single AI influencer right now is doing. Now, don't get me wrong, the gold was legit,
just like computers were legit in the 70s, internet and the dot-com bubble was legit in the 90s,
and social media was legit in the 2010s. But the most consistent money to be made was in helping
other people implement those technologies or controlling the narrative and the distribution
and the marketing for those technologies. And that's exactly what all of these AI influencers
are doing right now on YouTube and every other social media platform out there. So that gold
rush is AI, and Claude is the gold. And right now, millions of people are sprinting in with
their pickaxes. They're asking Claude to write their emails, build their resumes, spit out their
copy, and they're all trying to dig money straight out of the tool. And look, some of them will make
a little. Very few of them will make a lot. But that is the slow lane, right? That's mining.
You're competing with everyone, with racing prices to the floor, and you're trading hours for scraps.
But the fast lane is to be like Brannon. You don't have to be the best miner in the world.
Brannon barely gave a ---- about gold. He did the boring stuff that nobody else wanted to do,
and he sold the pickaxes to the miners. So you just have to point at the gold and hand people
a pickaxe. In modern terms, you tell how Claude can make them do whatever they're already trying
to do better, faster, and more, and then you make money faster than they do just by telling them how
to do it. Because everybody, and I mean everybody, wants to know how to use AI to make money right
now. So notice that all of these AI influencers that you see, none of them, even the ones that
say, for instance, that you can make YouTube videos with AI actually use AI to make YouTube
videos. They all make their YouTube videos with a personal brand showing their face and usually
sharing their screens, right? So they're probably using AI to help them to make those videos,
but they're not using AI to make the whole video themselves. All right, guys, quick break. This
video is sponsored by me. I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be doing a live training this
where I'm going to be revealing the YouTube content advantage in 2026. It is a completely
free training, no strings attached. In fact, I'm giving away even more bonuses at the training.
Just as an example, I'm going to be giving away my niche validator, and this is going to be
available for both Claude as well as ChatGPT, which is a super valuable piece of software
where you can finally figure out what the best niche for you is. So do not miss out on this
training. Make sure you sign up for it down in the description and the pinned comment below,
because you only get it if you join the training. So if you don't join now, you might miss it. But
that being said, in the workshop, you'll get to meet me. You'll get to ask me questions directly.
So I look forward to meeting you. So click the link in the description, the pinned comment below,
make sure you put it on your calendar. And if for whatever reason you missed out on it,
you weren't able to attend, make sure you still click that link because we might be having
workshops in the future as well, and you'll be the first to know about it. So yeah, hope to see
you there. And now back to your regularly scheduled programming. So how do you tell people how to get
in front of that wave? Well, you need distribution. And there's one platform that is built better for
this than anything else on the planet. And that is YouTube. And before you click off because you
think you need to be some massive influencer, you don't. Not even close. Now, here's why YouTube
beats everything else for this. One, it pays you directly. You don't even need a product from day
one. YouTube literally cuts you a check for the ads that pop up on your videos once you're approved
for monetization, which happens at only a thousand subscribers. Two, it's an asset. A TikTok dies in
three days. A YouTube video keeps getting found, keeps getting watched, and keeps paying you for
years, maybe even decades. For instance, we made a sale from a YouTube video that we did six years
ago, and it was a six-figure contract. Now that's the Levi Strauss part, right? You build something
once and it pays you on repeat. Then three, people searching YouTube are searching for answers,
which means they're already ready to learn, ready to buy, and ready to book calls and become your
clients. So a single video is your pickaxe. You make it one time and it sells for you 24 hours a
day while you sleep. And that you need to be big thing is total bull. Oh, and by the way, if you're
wondering why you should do YouTube instead of all the social media platforms, well, let me just
play a little compilation for you of all the biggest influencers that are on all the different
platforms saying that YouTube is the best. Here's Alex Ramosi saying it. Our YouTube traffic converts
at three to four times every other platform. Here's Cody Sanchez saying it. The fact that
YouTube gives 55% of the revenue is unlike any other platform. And even Gary V. Okay, so if you
don't believe me after seeing that, I don't know what to tell you. YouTube is by far the best social
media platform. It's not even close. And if you're thinking, well, Shane, all those people have
massive brands. I don't want to have to build a massive brand. That's total bull as well. You
don't need to have a huge channel. A good example of this is community member of mine named Carla.
Her channel is tiny, only about 1,500 subscribers with most of her videos pulling in under 200 views.
She closed a six-figure contract from YouTube because she was targeting the right people
with her channel, right? She wasn't famous. She didn't go viral. She has a tiny channel. She only
gets 100 or 200 views per video, but she put the right pickaxe in front of the right people. So
here's how to start. You need exactly three things, and they're all free. A phone, a free
cloud account, and a YouTube channel. Don't overthink the gear. Zach started with his webcam,
pointed at your face in decent light, decent audio, and go, right? You can literally use your laptop
webcam. If you don't believe me, just look at Nurse Jen. Nurse Jen literally just used her laptop
webcam. She was sitting in the same situation that you're in right now just a couple months ago.
She followed my advice. She started her channel, and now she's got two videos over 500,000 views,
and she's making a full-time income from YouTube, right? So don't overthink this and think you need
all the best camera equipment and the best lenses and the best lighting and a teleprompter and all
that stuff. You don't, okay? Then just to keep things simple, I highly recommend you name the
just in case the first thing doesn't work out and you want to pivot later on. Now, I know what some
of you are thinking. Shane, that's great for people who are good on camera. I'm not. I'm not
techie, and it's too late for me. Okay, let me introduce you to my brother, Zach. Zach's in his
50s. He's not a technical guy, and he's never made a single video in his entire life, and he started
a channel from absolute zero, and 29 days later, he was making a full-time income, $214 in a single
day, right? So he went from zero to a full-time income in 29 days. Last month, he had his record
month, which was over $18,000 in a single month. So if a 50-something dude with zero tech skills
can go from never making a video to $214 a day in under a month, the it's too late for me excuse is
dead, so drop the damn excuse. And he didn't have some secret. He just had the right idea and the
willingness to hit upload, and that, the right idea, is the only hard part of the entire thing.
Well, guess what? We actually created a Claude skill that's been trained on thousands of hours
of us helping our community members find the perfect niche for them, and we're going to be
giving that away in our free live training that we're doing this week, so click the link in the
description and the pinned comment below to attend that. But after you find the right niche, which is
kind of like your big idea, you need to find the right video ideas, which is kind of like your
small ideas within the bigger idea, and that is where the icon method comes in. Now, we are going
to drop some resources in the description and the pinned comment below that are light versions of
what we give our clients, and you can use those to follow along. Now, the reason they're light isn't
because we're really stingy, okay? It's because we personalize everything for our clients, and of
course, when those light versions, we're not able to do that for you, but this should be enough for
you to follow along. So, the number one thing that is going to determine if your video is successful
more than anything else, by far, is the idea of the video, okay? It's not your camera, it's not
your editing, it's not your face, it's not even how long you spend writing the script, it's the
idea. If you have a winning idea, everything else can be mediocre about your video, and it's still
going to do well. If you have a bad idea, everything else about your video can be elite, and it's not
going to do well. It's that simple. And the great thing is, you don't need to be creative, right? You
don't have to get lucky. You can steal the ideas that are already proven to work, and I call this
the Icon Method. And this comes from Carl Icahn, and he basically doesn't gamble on random stocks.
He got famous by finding the companies that the market had mispriced, where these were companies
that were doing incredibly well, despite the fact that the company was ran like sh**. Then, he would
buy the company, fix it, and then flip it for 5 to 10x. And we do the exact same thing with video
ideas. So, here's the filter. You find a video with at least 100,000 views on a channel that has
100,000 subscribers or less, with a views to subscriber ratio of at least 5 to 1. And, this is
the important part, you want to make sure that the video itself is either mediocre or preferably bad.
So, let me translate that. If a channel has 50,000 subscribers, but one video has a million views,
and the video isn't some absolute Michelangelo masterpiece, that video did not blow up because
of the channel's audience. It blew up because the idea was so good that it punched way above the
channel's weight. So, if the idea carried a small channel to a million views, it'll carry you, a
complete beginner, with zero subscribers as well. So, let me show you what that looks like in the
real world. There's a channel called Buffed. It's got about 84,000 subscribers, pretty small. But,
one of their videos has about 2 million views. And, no offense to them, but that video isn't
exactly a masterpiece. So, that would be a good example of one of these. Here's another example.
I found this video right here. It had a ton of views despite coming from a smaller channel,
and the video itself was kind of bad. And so, I remade the video, and it absolutely blew up and
got millions of views, okay? And, a community member of mine named Craig did exactly this.
So, Craig sells real estate, and he was showing up every single week, putting in the work,
and the views just weren't coming. Then, he joined us. We started applying our method,
taking proven high demand topics and marrying them with what he actually knew. And, one of
his videos took off and got over 100,000 views. And, that translates to a lot of freaking money
for his realty business. So, here's how to start. Download the pack that I put in the description,
the pinned comment for you, and follow these steps. And then, screenshot this prompt,
put it into Claude, and tell it to interview you until it has enough context to give you a
great answer. All right, if you need to pause the video and do it, go ahead and do that. Or,
you can just come back to it later. So, the next thing we're going to do is to steal a proven idea,
and then make your version about that with Claude. And, you can literally write a script in like 15
minutes. That's exactly what my brother did with his first video that popped off and got over
800,000 views, is he wrote the script in about 15 minutes. And then, when you first begin,
there's two ways that you can make money with almost zero effort whatsoever. The first one is
the one that Zach used, and that's AdSense. And so, this is where you make money when the ads pop
up on your channel. That's great. It's free money to me. That's the way I think about it. But,
it's only a tiny slice of the total pie of money you can make, but it is passive, which is great.
So, Zach was able to make $214 in a single day, 29 days after uploading that first video. But,
the second way of making money is something you can do even faster than that. You can recommend
products and services that you already use in the form of an affiliate link. You can do a call to
action telling them to click on it in the description in the pinned comment below. And,
if they click on that thing and they end up buying it, you will get a percentage of the sale. I've
made over a million dollars doing this. It is super passive, and it's a super easy way of making
money as well. And, that is the second way that we had my brother make money too, because he's
pretty busy, and he didn't want to launch his own products right off the bat. And, my community
member, Sean, also did this, and he made over $70,000 in a single sale. I went up to like $70K,
$80K in a single month. Right? Literally from affiliate marketing. Just recommending a company,
he made over $70,000 in a single sale. Now, there's a lot more that you can do after this.
There's way better ways of making money other than just monetization, aka AdSense and affiliate
marketing, but those require you to do a little bit of extra work. And, that is a topic from
another video. This video is just about how to make your first $1,000. With that being said,
if you want to sell something before you actually have to deliver on it, right? You don't actually
have to want to build it, but you can sell it before. You could actually just sell a coaching
package, right? So, you can sell a coaching package for $1,000, helping people do the
thing that you're doing. For instance, if you're helping them get into a career, which is very
common for a lot of my clients. A lot of my clients are career coaches. Josh Maticor, for
instance, was making less than $1,000 before he started working with me, and he got all the way
up to over $186,000 a month teaching people how to get into IT and cybersecurity-related careers.
But, let's just say you're a career coach. You could teach people how to use Claude to optimize
their resume for a specific type of career, or how to use Claude to do really cool projects that
they can put on their resume to make themselves look better to get into that career, or how to
use Claude to just get better at the skills necessary to do the job, right? So, you could
do coaching on how to do that and sell a $1,000 package. Then, you can sell it, and you don't even
have to deliver it right away. You can deliver it later on, right? So, that's another way that you
can make money. But any one of those three things can easily get you to your first $1,000, but that
is just the starting point. There's so many other ways you can go into down the line to make way
more money than that. And that's exactly what I'm going to be deep diving on in the live training
that I'm doing this week. And you can literally even ask me questions at the very end. There will
be a Q&A session where I'll answer all of your questions at the end. So again, click that link
in the description in the pinned comment below to check that out. But with that being said,
I know that 99% of you are going to watch my free content. You're going to get a lot of value out
it. You're going to download the resources in the description. You're going to get a lot of value out
of that as well. And you're going to attend my live trainings and get a ton of value out of that
too. And we are never going to end up working one-on-one together, and that is completely fine.
But for the very few of you out there that wants that one-on-one coaching, you either want us to
work very closely with you to help you to do this, or you want us to literally just do the work for
you, go ahead and book a call by clicking the link in the description in the pinned comment below.
Now, we are very limited in the amount of people we can work with. We're only accepting about
five people right now, and we only even consider about 18% of people who apply. So do not apply
unless you're very serious about growing and making money on YouTube with your side hustle,
with a personal brand from YouTube itself. So these are the types of people we typically work
with. Online business owners, right? Coaches, consultants, agency owners, online service
providers, et cetera. Some types of local business owners. So we've been working a lot with realtors,
for instance, but also law firms, financial advisors, insurance agencies, and a lot of
different types of medical business like dental cosmetics. But we also work with YouTubers who
are getting views, but they're struggling with monetization. YouTubers who are crushing it,
but they want to crush it even harder. Or people who are experts. So people who have written books,
people who have really good careers, and they want to help other people solve problems on YouTube.
But all those five people have the same thing in common, and that is they want to treat YouTube
like a business. So if that sounds like you, go ahead and click the link in the description in
the pinned comment below to apply. And also check out this video right here to see exactly how we
helped my brother go from zero to a full-time income in less than one month with his side
hustle on YouTube.
