Yuri Vasendin

Yuri Vasendin was born in 1958 in Arkhangelsk. He developed a love of painting from childhood. In 1975, he graduated from the Arkhangelsk Art School.

After school, he worked as an artist at the Maymaksa Community Center. By the 1990s, his paintings had become popular among Russian and international connoisseurs of realistic art. His works have been featured in numerous exhibitions in his native Arkhangelsk and have repeatedly represented the Russian North at exhibitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
