Operation Honey Pot: Paste this emoji šÆ in your comment below. An airplane crashed into Beijingās tallest building, Citic Tower, just a short flight from the center of the Chinese government. Panic is setting in and the coverup is already underway.
Beijing just had its own 9-11.
China celebrates its victory in a US Supreme Court case.
And the US put a Chinese billionaire in prison for 30 years.
And more on this week's China news headlines.
Welcome to China Uncensored, I'm Chris Chappell.
China just had its own 9-11 moment.
On June 26, an airplane crashed into Beijing's tallest building, Sidiq Tower, causing fragments
of the plane to come crashing to the ground and leaving a hole in the building.
Okay, so maybe this isn't quite the same scale as 9-11.
Yep, that's the entire tale right there.
But it's still symbolic.
You see, Sidiq Tower houses the Sidiq Group, a huge state-owned financial conglomerate
that was created in 1979 under Deng Xiaoping to help collect and manage foreign investment.
Sidiq Group now does everything from banking to food processing, real estate, mining and
steel making, to book publishing.
In other words, taking American investors' money while replacing American workers' jobs.
They're like Walmart.
Walmart was impossibly somehow bigger, eviler, and less classy.
Like New York's World Trade Center, Sidiq Tower is emblematic of global commerce.
And like 9-11, the Sidiq Tower crash is a huge national security problem.
Even if it wasn't exactly the hugest of planes, a few more seconds of flying and that plane
could have hit Zhongnanhai, the Central Party leadership compound.
This is especially weird because the Beijing government enforces a no-fly zone of about
40 miles centered around Zhongnanhai and Tiananmen Square.
They also enforced a no-staying-alive zone around Tiananmen Square in 1989, but they
don't talk about that.
So how did this plane break through?
And who was the pilot?
And was this an accident, or was it deliberate?
Was it a terrorist attack?
A political statement?
No one knows.
The Chinese government is being extremely tight-lipped about the incident.
The only thing they've officially said about it in 7 days is this 89-character incident
report.
It merely says that there was a plane crash in Beijing, the pilot is dead, and 13 people
were injured.
And the CCP censors have come out in full force.
They've scrubbed all videos and mentions of it from Chinese social media.
So basically the opposite of 9-11.
Instead of never forget, it's you better not remember.
Which means the CCP is absolutely freaking out.
And I can live with that.
Speaking of things exploding in the sky, happy 4th of July.
Did you know that China makes the vast majority of all display fireworks sold in the US, and
about 90% of all consumer fireworks?
So if you blow off your pinky with an M-80, you're not a reckless alcoholic, it was a
direct attack from the CCP.
Yeah, why buy made-in-the-USA fireworks to celebrate American independence, when you
can buy made-in-China fireworks to celebrate American dependence on China?
At least they're slightly cheaper.
Because China uses the safest, most high-tech manufacturing techniques, like antis in rural
villages.
USA number one in limbs blowing off at cookouts.
Sure, there was that massive Chinese fireworks factory explosion two months ago that killed
like 21 people.
But I mean, what's more important, the plight of the poor rural workers, or providing you
with low, low prices, while hollowing out your nation's manufacturing industry?
And your glove?
I know which one the CCP will choose.
And if you're watching a big fireworks show tomorrow, you're sure to also see some drone
displays.
Almost all of these will be done using Chinese DJI drones.
This year, the US has banned the import of new DJI drones, because they pose a huge risk
in terms of data privacy and national security.
But the ones that are still here?
Carpe diem!
Just don't carpe my personal data.
Speaking of China celebrating while America turns 250, the US Supreme Court this week
struck down Donald Trump's bid to stop birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants and tourists.
Trump truthed about it on Truth Social, truthing,
I would like to congratulate President Xi and the great country of China on their massive
birthright citizenship win.
To tell you the truth, I don't know if I'll ever get used to using truth as a verb.
During oral arguments, Trump administration officials had pointed out that China has a
multi-million dollar birth tourism industry, where Chinese women come as temporary visitors
to the US to give birth, so that their babies get automatic citizenship before bringing
their babies back to China.
Proving once again that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.
But the court struck down Trump's order, just as Samuel Lito, who gave a dissenting
opinion on the ruling, wrote that this could be a national security problem.
Suppose the child never visited the United States while growing up and was inculcated
with hatred of this country.
According to the court, that person is a citizen of the United States.
He can enter and leave the country as he pleases.
He can travel the world on a United States passport.
Even if he plots to harm this country, he cannot be deprived of his status as a citizen.
Even though the verbiage of that site makes me want to truth out my mouth.
On a totally unrelated note, Xi Jinping touted the Chinese Communist Party's global influence
in his speech marking the CCP's 105th anniversary.
Yes, the Chinese Communist Party was founded way back in 1921.
It took 28 years of terror and bloodshed before it actually occupied China, where it continued
its reign of terror and bloodshed.
Happy birthday to you!
But Xi's speech wasn't about how the CCP has killed more than 70 million of its own
people during peacetime.
No, it celebrated how the CCP has deeply changed the trend and trajectory of the world's
development through relentless struggle.
Which I guess would include the CCP supporting terrorist nations like Iran and North Korea,
Maoist revolutionaries in Africa and Southeast Asia, and even a lot of American political
figures who are in office today.
Yes, the CCP has deeply changed the trend and trajectory of the world's development.
So I guess technically, that's the truth.
Ugh, I've said truth too many times quoting Trump, and now the word sounds like gibberish
to me.
Not to be limited to influence ops, though, Xi Jinping is also bullish about war.
He said in his speech that a strong country must have a strong military.
And only a strong military can ensure national security.
Although to be clear, that only applies to China.
Xi does not want any other country to have a strong military, like the US.
Or Japan.
No, not like that.
Stop being so secure.
And especially not the Philippines, which has done something terribly offensive to the
CCP.
They held maritime drills in their own waters.
Like real sons of B words.
So what did the CCP do?
According to Philippines, one Chinese navy vessel and three Chinese coast guard ships
followed the bilateral maritime drills by the United States Coast Guard and Philippine
Navy and Coast Guard 93 kilometers from Escobar Shoal.
So the Chinese ships just followed them and watched, like a creepy stalker with guided
missiles.
But as you know, the CCP claims the entire Scarborough Shoal belongs to them, like a
creepy stalker with guided missiles.
They're like incels.
They might shoot you at any moment.
So incels.
And in a new and totally believable bid to justify their presence there, China recently
announced the creation of a National Nature Reserve at the Scarborough Shoal.
I assume that reserve is reserving the right to act like real sons of B words.
But when it comes to the former British colony, Hong Kong, China doesn't need to send its
navy to take over.
It just needs kindergartners.
In 2019, I was in Hong Kong when citizens were protesting to stop the CCP from invading
and changing their way of life.
Now seven years later, children in Hong Kong are being taught this to celebrate the 1997
Chinese takeover of Hong Kong.
Clearly those protesters were worried over nothing.
They were just being silly goose steppers.
Exiled Chinese tycoon Guo Wengui has been sentenced to 30 years for a billion dollar
fraud scheme.
If you're one of my longtime viewers, you know that I've been uncovering Guo Wengui
for a really, really long time.
So new viewers, you don't understand just how satisfying this I-told-you-so truly is.
So despite Guo making himself out to be a hero exposing corrupt officials, he's probably
not really a supporter of Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign.
Guo may have exposed lots of crimes committed by CCP officials, but he also drove a wedge
into the Chinese-American anti-CCP community.
According to the prosecutor, Guo Wengui, also known as Miles Kwok, which sounds like the
real name of an Avengers DEI hire, was only pretending to be a China pro-democracy advocate.
He started a bunch of schemes supposedly to raise money for his cause, like a crypto platform
and a private members-only club with a $10,000 buy-in.
But in reality, he was a scammer and a thief.
And a really good one, too.
He scammed people out of a billion dollars.
That's so much money.
Do you know how good of a scammer you have to be to accumulate that much scam money?
Are you guys running Three Card Monty?
Anyways, Guo Wengui will probably spend the rest of his life in prison.
And he also has to pay back most of the money he raised.
He says he plans to appeal.
I say, you're lucky to be in prison in the US and not in China.
There, you lose fingers even if it isn't the 4th of July.
And I want you to join me.
No not in prison.
I mean join me in standing up to the CCP.
