Landscape Designer Creates NATURALISTIC LANDSCAPES — Ep. 375

Donald Pell knew he wanted to be an artist when he was younger —but what kind of artist, he shared, was up to speculation…With a mother who was a nurserywoman and a fortuitous opportunity to go to a landscape conference when he was a teenager, Donald’s passion for what he would later discover was landscape design, became his life’s trajectory. Whether by design or destiny, he’s been able to paint the landscape with his naturalistic gardens, which have evolved in style over his professional career. I joined him in early spring in his own gardens at his design studio in zone 6 Pennsylvania.
