AI GeneratedA couple travels to London for their legal wedding ceremony at Chelsea Town Hall, staying at the luxurious Claridge's to prepare. Despite the excitement, they face several challenges, including a record-breaking heatwave, unexpected physical mishaps, and last-minute wardrobe crises, all while balancing high-end spa treatments and gourmet dining before their official celebration.
Welcome back to my channel guys. Andy's here, he's driving. Guess what we're doing tomorrow?
What? What are we doing tomorrow babe? We're getting married. We're getting married tomorrow!
Well we are legally, in the eyes of the law, getting married tomorrow but it's not our
wedding day. It's very confusing. No, tomorrow is our legal wedding so we are heading down to London
and we're going to basically sign the papers, get it all done and dusted because, for those of you
that don't know, you're probably more familiar with this kind of process for people that get
married abroad. You know, they usually have to go do it, you know, registry, town hall first, you know,
a couple of weeks before they go out and fly out and get married. However it also kind of applies
in the UK when your wedding venue isn't like a legal place of marriage. Now I don't want to give
too much away about our venue. There was the option to have it as a legal wedding, however it would
have meant moving the ceremony to a different part of the venue which we didn't want to do.
But yeah, I had no idea. If you want to get married in certain areas of certain venues,
I think the rule is there has to be a certain structure, isn't it? Something like that.
I don't actually know. I've actually no idea. Yeah, we learned something new. Otherwise it doesn't
actually, in the eyes of the law, you can't legally get married there. Hence we are going down to do
all the legal bits tomorrow and yeah, just make sure it's all legal ahead of our wedding day.
So it's been really hard to tell people what we're actually doing tomorrow because technically
we're getting married but we're not classing it as our wedding day. But we're going down. We are
going to have a really nice couple of days down in London though. So we're heading down today
and we are staying at Claridge's which is one of my favourite hotels and I've got a massage
booked for this evening. Guys, I'm having. I've never had one of these before. I was just,
I was looking on their little treatment menu. I've never had a massage at Claridge's before
and I thought, you know what, I'm going to treat myself the night before I'll have one. And I was
just looking on their treatment menu. I was just looking for, you know, a standard, you know,
full body relaxing massage and they do the lymphatic and toning massages. And so I was
intrigued. Basically it kind of rids your body of all toxins and water retention and all of that
jazz. And I was at the hairdressers this morning and Leanne was saying to me that she had one done
the night before her wedding day and she literally felt like she'd lost inches off
her waist. She said it was really, really good. She really rated it. So I'm really intrigued to
see what that's going to be like. So I'll let you know how that actually is. I'll let you know if I
feel like I've lost a few inches off my waist. So yeah, that's the plan. We're going to get to
the hotel for check-in. I've got my massage and then basically tonight we're just going to order
in a load of room service. We're going to live our best pretty woman life and we've already decided
we're actually going to watch Pretty Woman. I feel that's a really good film for when you're
staying in a nice hotel, isn't it? So we're going to watch that. England are also playing tonight,
aren't they? We've got Ghana. We'll watch that as well. And then, yeah, go to bed tomorrow afternoon.
We'll be going to the Chelsea Town Hall for our legal wedding. I'll show you what I'm wearing and
stuff. I'm not going like all out like bridal. I do want to save everything. I'm still wearing a white
dress, but I very much don't want to treat it as like a wedding dress. Do you know what I mean?
It's just an elevated daytime dress. And then, yeah, we've got a couple of our friends coming
down because they're going to be our witnesses for the marriage. And then I think afterwards
we've got a really lovely restaurant booked in Mayfair. And it's the kind of restaurant where
there's always a nice vibe. They've got live music and entertainment. So it's going to be a really,
really lovely couple of days. I'm really excited. The only thing that has thrown a complete and
utter spanner in the works is, I don't know how we've done this, but it is going to officially be
possibly one of the hottest days on record tomorrow, isn't it? Yeah. I mean, the last time
I checked, it was going to be 39 degrees in London. 39. Like, in the UK, we can't even
comprehend such temperatures. The UK can't cope with 30. 39 actually feels like a joke.
And I don't really know how that's going to go down tomorrow. So, and the problem is in the UK,
we get, you know, a heat wave like that. I mean, we haven't had a heat wave that severely hot
for a fair few years. But when we do, you can guarantee it causes carnage with everything,
our trains, our travel. The UK just isn't equipped to deal with it. So we've had to like,
try and make sure we've had last minute plans so that our, you know, our friends were supposed to
be getting the train down to London tomorrow. And we basically said, do not get a train.
You're going to have to drive. This is why we're driving. We were supposed to be getting a train
down, but we were really worried that, you know, loads of trains are going to be cancelling.
And also getting back, you know, the day after is just as hot and we're kind of thinking,
oh my God, what if we can't get back in time? And so, yeah, that has been the only thing that's
really thrown a spanner in the works. And the dress that I wanted to wear, which I've had
absolutely no worries about up until now, I am now looking at thinking I'm going to get heatstroke
and die if I wear that. You see that? I'm in a full suit. Andy is in a full suit. Yeah. I'm
going to be weak. Your arms, legs will be out. That's really true. But I think as a girl,
at least I've got options. Yeah. That's my only concern is that I'm going to be really hot in
that dress, but I'm only wearing those outfits for a couple of hours because literally after
the ceremony, we're heading back to Claridge's. We've got a table, bottle of champagne booked
for us and our friends, and we can literally nip straight up to the room and get changed,
which is the plan. I've brought with me like a short dress to wear straight after,
but part of me is thinking I really don't want to wear that for the ceremony. But basically,
guys, we're kind of debating tomorrow morning because our ceremony isn't until the afternoon
and we're in London. We've got all of the great shops at our disposal is we might end up nipping
out and I might end up getting a random last minute short dress alternative if it is going
to be that hot because my dress is quite a thick material. Like it's beautiful. It's beautiful
quality, but it's it's thick. So I don't know. Not as thick as my suit. Not as thick as your
suit. I do feel a few in a suit, but at least it won't be for a long time. And hopefully
there'll be air con in the town hall. I don't know, though. It's touch and go where the places
have air con. Oh, that's another thing we've booked. I'm going to hold you a minute. We've
booked a really lovely car to take us to the ceremony, and it's really old, classic kind of
car. Obviously, it's old. It's classic. It ain't got air con. That is going to be horrific. So
it's only a 15 minute journey. I'm tempted to just send that there so we can get some photos
and get in an actual taxi. No, I want to get in it. No, we'll still get in it. But yeah,
that has been the biggest spanner in the works, hasn't it? Nobody could have foreseen it being
this hot. I know it's technically summer, but we never see these kind of temperatures.
It is basically like being in Dubai, isn't it? And don't get me wrong, it's fine right now. We're
the car with the air con, but it's heating up today. So I know tomorrow it's going to be just,
we're going to just be on fire. So yes, other than that, we're going to have a really lovely time.
And do you know what? It could have tipped it down with rain, couldn't it? At least we've got
sunshine in London and we're not working. We're there to just have a nice time. I think that is
a lovely way to spend a heat wave. At least we're not in an office working. So there we go.
We're very lucky. I just really hope I don't get heat stroke. Oh dear. But yes. Oh, also this
morning, there's another little spanner in the works. Oh, by the way, do you like Andy's new
linen shirt? Yeah, he went on a bit of a shopping haul. Was it yesterday? Yeah. Andy never buys
himself new clothes ever. Very, very rarely will he get himself something new. What came over you?
Just seeing, I don't know. I don't know. You've been hanging around the influencer events too
much, haven't you? Yeah. Feeling a bit left out. Yeah. Andy went into Reece, came back with bags
and bags of things from Reece. We've got a whole new wardrobe. You do have to have a clear out of
your wardrobe now. Yeah, I am. Wow. Yeah. But no, it looks very nice. Got a nice new blue linen
shirt on from Reece. Actually, your whole outfit's new, isn't it? Can you treat yourself?
Yeah, I had another spanner in the works this morning, guys. I'll attach a photo in here in
a minute. But I woke up this morning, I went in the shower and when I was in the shower,
I had the water just, you know, coming down. It was on my face and I was just, you know,
and I was like with my lips and I thought, my lips feel weird. Like what's going on? Anyway,
got out of the shower, looked in the mirror. My bottom lip was honestly triple the size.
It was, it looked like someone had snuck into my bedroom in the middle of the night and pumped my
lip full of lip filler. It was outrageously big and it was quite, and it felt really numb.
And I was like, what the hell has happened to me? And even now, I do not know what happened.
I think it was one, it's going to be one of two things. I wear a retainer to go to bed and I think
either a bit of my lip has maybe got caught or stuck in the retainer or my bottom lip has been
really tightly pressed up against it somehow with how I've slept and just really caused a lot
of irritation and swelling to my bottom lip. Or the only other thing I can think of is obviously
with it being so warm, we slept with the windows open and whether something has bitten me on my
lip and I've had swelling. Anyway, I went to the hairdressers. By the time I'd finished my
appointment, it had gone down. It's gone back to normal now. Still feels slightly tingly numb,
but it's definitely gone down to what it was. But my gosh, looking at my lips this morning,
I just thought, oh, this is just so sod's law, isn't it? Got a ceremony tomorrow and I'm walking
around looking like that. But it was just, I don't know what happened. So I'm not going to wear my
retainer tonight just in case, because I'm now paranoid that I'm going to have that lip again.
And there would have been three of us getting married. Me, you and the lip. All in a little
three-way marriage. So yeah, I've no idea what happened there, but there we go. It was a bit
of free lip filler for me, wasn't it? That's it. It was so big and it looked worse when I smiled.
That was my main concern. I don't really care when I'm resting, because I think,
it just looked like I'd just had a load of lip filler. But it was when I smiled with my teeth,
my bottom lips basically covered up the sides of my top teeth. So you could just see my front two
teeth. I was like this. That's what I look like when I'm smiling. And I was like, I can't,
I can't have this. Not tomorrow. We have arrived at Claridge's. So let me give you a really quick
spin around the room for a quick room tour, because then I've got a little bit of time
before my massage. But I want to show you the room. So coming into our room, we've got this
little kind of corridor before you come in our room. That's actually the door to our room.
But coming in here, look how big and beautiful this room is. Did she just say you? You're big
and beautiful as well, dear. The thing that always mesmerises me about Claridge's is how
perfectly ironed the beds are. I can only dream of having a bed this well ironed. It's always just
the sheets are always so perfectly pressed and just crease free. It just makes me really,
really happy. But we've got a little seating area here and obviously TV, a little desk.
We were given a glass of champagne on arrival, which was lovely. But over here,
look how beautiful this table is. Andy, being an absolute angel, had some flowers waiting for me
in the room. Look how absolutely gorgeous these are. Oh, I thought he was joking when he said
I got you those. I thought I said, no, you didn't. So I never know when he's joking.
I know. I got you these ones as well. The ones just behind him.
So we've got, look how lovely they were. They gave us some complimentary,
a little his and hers mug to celebrate getting married tomorrow. Very, very cute.
Claridge's chocolates, yum. Some macarons. We've also got some little nuts for our champagne,
fruit, complimentary bottle of Shampers, which is glorious. I'm just thinking, Andy,
shall we stick this in the fridge for tomorrow and we can have it while we're getting ready
with Jake and Simone? We'll do that. So yeah, that was waiting for us on arrival, which is lovely.
Gorgeous big windows letting in so much light. I don't know if I can open it from this way, but
looking out over London town. In here, really skinny door. I don't know why the door is so
skinny. Very, very skinny door. But into the bathroom, gorgeous black marble, his and her
sinks, obviously a big bath. Me, I'm wearing my yellow Karen Millen dress, by the way, because it
is scorching outside. And then, oh, best thing ever. We've got Claridge's robes here. Obviously
a shower, but through here we have a cheeky little dressing room, which is so cute. We've
got a vanity table here for sitting and getting ready. And then just behind me, there's so much
wardrobe space in this room. We've got two huge double wardrobes, plus the wardrobes in the main
bedroom in there. So we are definitely not short on space. And then I really do need to show you
my favourite part about Claridge's. I always love everything that's on offer in the room.
Look up here, we have Dr. Barbara Sturm. We've got eye patches, a face mask. We've got more face masks
here. Anti-pollution hydrating face mask. Oh, also got this Hydrolift gold face mask.
Oh, this sounds like a bit of you, Andy, for later. What is that? This is the Hydrolift
gold face mask. Why is that me? That just sounds bougie, just like you, babe.
These are so good with a cup of tea later, Andy. The Claridge's lemon and white chocolate cookies.
So good. And then we've got some Fortnum and Mason biscuits, some nuts. We've got chocolates,
peppermints. You've got your spirits and your red wine. Down here, we have obviously tea,
coffee station going on. Oh, I've just thought, where's the kettle? Oh, we had this last time.
Do you remember? The kettle was hidden. You said it would be in one of those side drawers. It
will be in one of the side drawers. But coffee station. In this drawer, we have more gorgeous
bits. We've got some crisps, popcorn, yummy sweeties. Oh, these look good. Sriracha rice
chips. Where is it? I don't know. I remember last time we stayed here and it took us a while to find
the kettle. And then I think this is the mini bar down here. Yes. So we've got all drinks and things
going on. How do you think? Yeah. I could have swore we found a kettle last time. Yeah, but
that's because we had a different layout. Oh, maybe. And then in here, look at all the mirror
space as well. Oh, so good for mirror selfies. I know it's so vain, but always very well appreciated.
And in here, if I open her up, this is what I appreciate, guys. I did actually bring my own
because I forgot, but Claridge's do actually provide you with a Dyson hairdryer, which is
so appreciated. It's always awful. You know, when you forget your own hairdryer and you have to use
a bit of a naff one and it just ruins your hair. Always so appreciative for a good hairdryer in a
hotel room. And then a steamer, obviously, which I definitely will be needing. What have we got
in here? Oh, we've got a safe in there. And then down here, we've got. Oh, that's what I was looking
for. Claridge's slippers. This is what I wanted. Oh, perfect. And then in the very end one here,
I think we've just hung a few bits up in this one. Yeah. And he's got his suit and I've got my dress
hanging up in there. So, yeah, that is a very quick spin of the room. Feeling very,
very lucky and grateful to be able to stay in a room like this. Look how glorious it is.
Just beautiful. So I'm going to enjoy my champagne because I've got about half an hour before I need
to head down for my lovely massage. So, oh, oh, you just took straight in. I was about to say
someone's had a macaron. No, you are eating a banana. I'm going to have a chocolate and some
nuts and I'll let you know how the massage is. This is so aesthetic. We're ordering room service.
I'm so excited. I'm not really a big fan of the side profile, but we can live with it. Right.
Can we just call an order? I'm so hungry. Yes. Good evening. Please may we order the seafood,
the courageous seafood cocktail, the cheese toastie, the burrata salad and a penne arrabbiata.
May we also get some waters? Yes. Can we get two big bottles of still water, please?
And can we get two Coca Colas and can we get a glass of ice as well, please?
Thank you very much. Or a bucket of ice, actually. I think that's everything.
I shall just check with the boss. Would you like any bread or butter? A little picky nibble bits.
Actually, yes, please. Yes, please. Nothing for desserts. No, all good. Excellent. Thank you very
much. Thank you. You too, Mr. Collins. Do they call you Mr. Collins? You'll have to excuse the
fact that I've got all marks around my face from where I was head first having my massage. Oh my
gosh, such a good massage. I've never had a lymphatic drain and toning massage before. Obviously,
I've only ever had sort of sports massage, you know, deep tissue and it was really, really
lovely. They're kind of like, there's a lot of like this action or it literally feels like they're
peeling your skin back, but not painfully. There's a lot of really like quite firm grip and pulling
and rubbing and it just feels lovely. And it's supposed to, I think, what's it supposed to do?
Kind of free up, get rid of the toxins and water retention in your body so that you feel... So,
I thought what better than what sounds like a pretty good massage, but apparently they've only
just started doing them. I was one of the first people to have it and I had no idea. The lady
that did it was really, really good as well. She was so lovely and I've never been down into the
clergy spa. Obviously, I didn't film it because it's a spa, but it was absolutely beautiful.
The smell in there as well was incredible. What are you doing? I spilt something and
this bit of glass is over the table and it went under the table and created like a suction.
Well, Andy destroys the room. We've just ordered a load of room service
and we're going to watch Pretty Woman. Yes, you're not watching the second half of this
game. It's not even England playing. Andy, it's our pre-wedding night. You're a pretty woman.
You have to do as I say. Okay. Otherwise, I'm not going to turn up tomorrow. Okay,
we'll watch it. That's the deal. Anyway, we've also been sent another gorgeous bottle of fizz
from our friends. I might be stumbling tomorrow into the town hall if we drink all that. So,
I did say I would have a glass while I was getting ready, but now I've got two bottles.
I suppose our friends are here as well. Yeah. I mean, how many glasses do you get in a bottle?
Probably four or five. Yeah. That's very, very true. One of my glasses too. Oh my gosh, guys,
the food has arrived. This looks so good, but it's toasty. Oh my gosh. We've got a little
massive cheese toastie, prawn cocktail. We've got a burrata and tomato salad,
some bread and butter. Oh my gosh, that penne. They're so pretty. Anyway, I'm not going to film
us eating because we've got our film on and yeah, this is going to be us for the evening.
Oh my gosh, that was honestly one of the best room service dinners I think we've ever had.
It was so good. Oh my gosh, the cheese toastie. It's a cheese toastie, okay. How good can a
cheese toastie be? Unreal. It came with this chutney dip as well and oh my gosh, it was just
amazing. Just absolutely gorgeous. Anyway, we've been little piggies eating our dinner. I've
literally just had a shower. I wore a little shower cap because I really didn't want to wash
my hair tonight. I'm going to wash it all nice and fresh for tomorrow, but I thought I'd quickly
show you just my kind of last minute bits of prep for my skin. So as I said, I have already
washed my face. I've used my cleanser wherever it is. Where art thou? I've used my oil cleanser
basically and now I'm going to use one of my Medicube little pads just to kind of chemically
exfoliate my skin. Make sure my skin is super smooth for tomorrow. I'm also going to fake tan.
I thought I'd quickly show you what fake tan I use as well. I get quite a lot of questions about
that actually. There we go. So I've just moved around so that I've got the light because my
camera was not happy about the lack of light. This is the tan that I use, Effin Tan. I've got
the shade Ultra Dark. It's fragrance free, which means it's good for my skin. My skin can be a
little bit sensitive. Fragrance free tanning foam. I love it. I love the colour that it gives.
So I'll apply this tonight and then in the morning when I get in the shower, I'll wash my hair,
rinse off the tan and then I'll lather my body in moisturiser and that will just be
the perfect sun-kissed glow. I'll look tan but it will look like a natural healthy glow
of a tan. So that's the tanning routine down. Obviously, I'm not going to film myself putting
my tan on but next up in my little skincare routine, I'm going to use a bit of Estee Lauder.
I'm going to use a bit of Advanced Night Repair. Definitely an oldie but a goodie. I'm also just
going to pop my hair up because I keep messing with it. It's annoying me. There we go, now I
won't keep messing around. Advanced Night Repair. I have just, I've loved this stuff for years and
years. I really don't think you can go wrong with a bit of Estee Lauder. Lovely. And then a final
step in my routine to go to bed looking like a glazed donut is my Tatcha The Longevity Memory
Cream just as a last, last moisturiser and I really do like to just lather this on before bedtime
so that it really does its thing and I wake up with glowy hydrated skin. There we go. Right, I'm
going to do my tan and then I'm going to make myself a peppermint tea and I'm going to get into bed and
I'll see you in the morning. Good morning guys. Literally picking things up where I left you last
night but we had, oh my gosh, the loveliest sleep. The Claridge's beds are so comfortable, so, so
comfortable but we have had breakfast this morning. I had for breakfast, well we both had the same
thing. We had two soft-boiled eggs, basically dippy eggs and soldiers with marmite and some of the
Claridge's granola and yogurt. Beautiful, beautiful breakfast. I've also showered, I've washed my hair,
I'll give it a quick blow dry and we are like well on schedule for getting ready but I wanted to
quickly check in because also Houston, we have a problem, we have a problem. So the shoes that I
wanted to wear today, my Manolo Blahniks, do not fit me because it is so hot outside and my feet
have swollen and they're only probably going to get bigger as it gets hotter and I can't get these
bad boys on so I'm a bit stuck and also my dress that I'm wearing, it just feels way too hot for
because the material is quite thick and I'm panicking because basically at 6am this morning
it was already 22 degrees. It is currently just gone 9am and it's about 24, 25 degrees now.
It's due to get up to I think 37 degrees by the time our ceremony time rolls around which is at
3pm, literally the hottest point of the day. I am basically just really worried that I am basically
going to overheat in that dress because the material is so thick and it's kind of got a bit
of coverage around the arms here and I just feel like I don't know, I'm panicking about it. So I'm
doing the typical thing that you do when you panic and that is, I'm in the middle of London,
I'm going to run out and do a dash to Selfridges and just see if I can find a slightly cooler
feeling dress because like I said, I just really want to enjoy my ceremony and not stand there
thinking about the fact I'm about to pass out in heat. So yeah, that is the plan this morning.
Andy also needs a tie so we're getting there. Also, can I just say, Selfridges in London on a
weekday opens at 10am. Do you not think that's a bit late? I'm sorry. It stays open till late.
I know, yeah, it does stay open till late but come on, on a weekday? Think about people that
want to pop in there before, I think 8am on a weekday to be honest. But anyway, so we are
literally, it's ten past nine now, we are waiting until the time is right. We can jump in a cab,
dash to Selfridges. Andy needs a tie. Do you know what colour tie you want? He wants like a
champagne-y coloured tie. I'm going to get a tie, I'm going to see what dresses there are,
see what shoes there are. I'm basically doing a whole last minute outfit almost but if it doesn't,
if it can't work, then I, you know, I have my original dress, it's okay, I'll just have to
grin and bear it and yeah, we'll see. We'll see. So at the minute, I don't know what I'm wearing.
At the minute, I really don't know what I'm wearing so it's going to be as much of a surprise
to me as it is to you right now. I'm also, obviously, I don't really want to get ready
because I don't need to be ready until later on so I'm going shopping with my natural hair like
this. No makeup. Yeah, we're just, we're winging it this morning, guys. We are well and truly
winging it but I'm going to quickly put some clothes on and then we'll head to Selfridges.
Quick outfit of the day before I head out. I'm wearing this gorgeous white dress from Hobbs.
I love the like broderie anglaise detail at the top. Love the shape of it and yeah, hopefully,
I'm going to be cool enough in this to do my mad dash around Selfridges but yeah, I'm heading
bare-faced. I've left my hair down. I'm just going to, I might have to just run the hairdryer over it
when I get back, depends if I get a little bit sweaty. Honestly, it's so hot outside.
I've just filled in my brows just that I don't feel quite so bare but anyway, if anyone saw me
running like a crazy chicken around Selfridges on,
during this week, then you know why. You know why.
I'm so sorry guys, vlogging well and truly had to go on the back burner but I managed to grab
a dress. I couldn't get anything in Selfridges so I ran to Selfportrade and they saved the day.
I've also popped the important things on ice for today. English sparkling and my Abebe collagen
eye patches. I have never been more relieved to get back into a hotel and back into Aircon.
That heat is no joke and the fact that it's only getting hotter is quite concerning but I am going
to have a massive drink of water and I'm going to start getting ready. Our friends are literally
arriving now. Andy's just gone downstairs to meet them so we're going to get ready,
have a glass of bubbles together and it's just going to be a lovely, lovely day.
Well, our friends have arrived and we're all sat in the room with our eye patches on.
We've all got eye patches on. The lunch has just arrived. We're just having a few nibbles because
we're actually not going to eat until seven o'clock tonight so we've got pizza, greek salad,
some fries. I can imagine us ordering more now I've seen how much is here. I think we're going
to end up ordering more but we're going to eat this and then we'll get ready. I'm not going to
film me actually getting ready guys. I'm just going to crack on and do my makeup but I will
show you when the outfit is on. Guys, I'm so sorry it's been such a mad rush to get ready but I had
to give you a quick, quick, quick look before I leave. Dress, last minute dash this morning
to self-portrait. Shoes, exactly the same. Those are the ones that I wore to Ascot. My little
something borrowed has given me the earrings she wore on her wedding day. Bag, new from Aspen of
London, a gift from Andrew this morning. Flowers, got them made at Claridge's this morning but yeah
that is basically the outfit for the civil ceremony so I'll probably see you guys afterwards.
Whose idea was it Andy to get a classic car with no aircon? Shark chill fill fans,
you need them in your life.
And then just like that, dress number two. So this is just a little
boucle mini dress from Nadine Murabi. Perfect now for going out to celebrate with some champagne
and some dinner but it's, I love this bit, look at that, it goes with my earrings really well.
Oh there we go, outfit number two on. Also look what they left us in the room. So we came back

and then we're going to head down to the bar for official celebration.
