This is our last video of Brazil Beyond the Postcard. And what started as a journey through Brazil became something much more personal than we ever expected.
In this emotional final episode, we’re looking back at everything we experienced in Brazil: reuniting with our family, watching our little boy Henrique discover new adventures, celebrating Brazilian culture, dancing through Carnaval, and sharing unforgettable moments with the people we love.
But somewhere along the way, this travel vlog became a story about something much bigger.
During our trip, we celebrated Junior’s birthday surrounded by family. Ana’s parents, who have always loved dancing, were there with us. At the time, we didn’t fully realize just how precious that moment might be.
Three months later, life looks very different.
Living far away from aging parents is something that’s hard to explain until you experience it. The goodbyes, the distance, the guilt, the uncertainty, and the realization that time with the people we love is never guaranteed.
And that’s when we realized what Brazil Beyond the Postcard was really about.
Not just the beautiful places, the music, the food, or the celebrations. But the people. The strangers who greet you with a smile. The families who dance together until the last song. The ordinary moments that become extraordinary memories.
Because in the end, it’s the people who make a place feel like home.
This is the final chapter of our Brazil Beyond the Postcard series, and perhaps our most personal video yet.
If there’s one thing we hope you take away from this journey, it’s this:
Call your parents. Hug your loved ones. Dance in the kitchen, even when you’re tired. And don’t wait for a special occasion to appreciate the little moments.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for watching our family grow, one memory at a time.
With love,
Ana, Junio, Henrique & Julikita
