CSIS Flags Iranian Student; Carleton Awards Scholarship

Carleton University is facing scrutiny after Canadian intelligence agencies (CSIS and CBSA) flagged an Iranian PhD student, Mohammad Reza Pakhachian, as a national security threat. Despite warnings that his aerospace engineering research could advance Iran's weapons of mass destruction and missile programs, he was admitted and granted a scholarship.
