El PSOE cierra filas con Pedro Sánchez para salir a ganar en 2027

Madrid, June 27 (EFE) – The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) closed ranks this Saturday behind its Secretary General, Pedro Sánchez, who urged his colleagues to "clean up whatever needs cleaning" within the party in order to win the 2027 elections. He only heard the expected criticisms from the president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page.

There were no surprises at the PSOE Federal Committee meeting, which resolved not to lose hope after the series of legal cases affecting its former Secretaries of Organization José Luis Ábalos – recently sentenced to 24 years in prison – and Santos Cerdán, as well as former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Sánchez's wife and brother.
