Japan Snow Report, January 8th, 2026

It is dumping across Japan's resorts in both Hokkaido and Honshu, with 20cms overnight and another 20+cms today. The result is some epic powder, footage of free skier Finn Bowes filmed in Hakuba today while the Niseko powder from Sea and Summit Collective was shot earlier this week .
