A group of kayakers enjoying a day on the water never expected to come across an animal in distress. While making their way downstream, they spotted a young moose calf stranded near a dangerous stretch of fast-moving water. Unable to find a safe route and clearly struggling in the current, the frightened animal remained trapped as the kayakers carefully approached to assess the situation.
