A lost baby elephant finds a new home. The sadness of a lost baby meets Humanity

Whenever you hear about baby elephants being separated from their parents and herds it is some sad news. There are several thousands of elephants around the island, and they migrate from area to area regularly making it hard to document and spot their relevant herds. These officers are here to take care of this baby elephant and to take it back to Udawalawa Ath Athuru Sewana, a place made for elephants who are displaced and are unable to survive in the jungle for many different reasons. These officers were kind enough to provide milk and give it a good clean wash before taking the cute elephant to the location.
