Painting the Blue Man of the Desert 🎨 Gouache ASMR

I had so much fun painting this one, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. 🎨
The idea came from some striking photographs I once saw of the Tuareg — semi-nomadic people of the Sahara, often called the "blue men of the desert." The men wear those beautiful, deep-blue garments traditionally dyed with natural indigo. The dye even rubs off onto the skin over time, and the flowing robes and veils help shield them from the harsh desert sun and sand. I couldn't stop thinking about that cool blue against all that golden light — it had to become a painting.
