Mount Emei, a Sacred Buddhist Mountain | Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple Hidden in the Forest

Spring brings fresh, humid air and vibrant greenery to Mount Emei. In this video, I begin at the famous “The First Mountain Under Heaven” archway at the foot of the mountain, walking through lively Sichuan-style streets and an area where Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist cultures come together, before arriving at Baoguo Temple, the largest temple on Mount Emei.

After visiting Baoguo Temple, I continue along a peaceful forest path accompanied by mountain streams. Surrounded by birdsong and the sound of flowing water, the journey finally leads to Fuhu Nunnery, hidden among ancient trees, where the quiet and timeless atmosphere of Mount Emei can be truly felt.
