🌿 A mountain journey from Kyoto to Ohara and Kibune, Japan, just before the autumn colors arrive.
I sipped matcha beside a framed garden at Hosenin, strolled through the gardens of Sanzenin, hopped on a little train into the hills, and made a wish at Kifune Shrine in Kibune.
It felt like stepping into a summer vacation memory I had almost forgotten.
