Jan Choinski vs Alexei Popyrin Highlights Eastbourne 2026 R1

It was almost like he saw that he'd hit a good slice and he moved in with it. Let rip a couple of times. Across the foreman's spell. Big chance, and he wasn't about to let that slip. Choynsky. Strong blow and a final set tiebreak. Two players who thrived at Roland Garros on the clay. Meanwhile, on the grass at court number one, it's Alexey Poprin. He's got the height to help him on those overheads. Still though, he's not out of the game, Choynsky. You'll want to be back to playing front foot tennis if you can. But he was given no chance. By Choynsky. Stuck the return, made him play it. And it's wayward from Poprin. We've been asking and seeing if he could make one of those backhand passes, and that one he did. Not that time. And Jan Choynsky picks up his third career win at tour level.
