Dino Prizmic Defeats Childhood Idol Novak Djokovic Rome 2026 Highlights

The depth of return from Novak Djokovic. He takes it. The first break point of the match for Prismic. He was ready for it. Throwing absolutely everything at the ball. And for the second time in as many meetings, Dino Prismic takes a set from Novak Djokovic. Got him by surprise, didn't he? Djokovic leading the wrong way. It's Djokovic-like. He seals it with Dino Prismic. Under the lies in Rome. His childhood tennis hero. You've had some big wins recently. But wow, congratulations to do it against your idol Novak Djokovic here in Rome, where he's won the title six times. Can you put it into words? Yeah, I mean, for me now it's hard to say. I just said now it's a big respect for Novak. He's my idol. So yeah, it was definitely a great match for me today. I played unbelievable. And yeah, I just want to stay focused and to be ready for the next one. Yeah, you shared the first two sets. And I think the most impressive thing perhaps was the way you held your nerve. You just seemed to be so calm out here. Were you feeling calm? Yeah, but first set he played unbelievable. I was like, okay, I'll just try to do something to change. And yeah, it worked. But definitely he played really, really unbelievable first set. And yeah, in the end of the second set, I tried to find my game and I did it. So yeah, it's very, very, very good. Huge congratulations. Thank you.
