Counting numbers is from the first lessons given to the kids when they start their educational journey, they learn the numbers and the alphabet letters, before they move forward to learning to read and write and go a little bit more with the mathematical operations.

Counting is the first thing that kids learn when it comes to math and numbers because counting is actually knowing the orders of the numbers, it is not just counting what is in front of them. Since the kids are still not able to learn all the letters at the same time, it is important that parents and teachers take the whole thing slowly and start with specific numbers before they reach the point where they go further and teach them more numbers.

At the beginning of the educational journey that is related to numbers, parents should teach the kids to count to 10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx4R1YkxPso) then they will need to increase the number and go further until they reach 20, and so on. At the end of this journey, kids will learn the numbers and they might even know some of them without having to go through a specific lesson.

This is a great educational video for preschoolers and kindergarten to help the kids hear the numbers from 1 to 20 and thus could manage to count later on after their ears got used to the numbers. One of the good things about this educational video is the fact that it is done in some kind of a song, making it more interesting for the kids to learn and thus to remember as well.

Counting could happen while using fingers and toes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jkrRRXgFq8), it could happen through using other objects that the kids are exposed to, it could happen through counting the Lego pieces or any of the other toys and characters which the kids own in their games' world (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSMd8kMHIHo).

Counting is so interesting for the kids to learn and even for the parents to teach, because of the tricks and tips which they are going to make and give. At first, when the kids learn to count on their own, parents could play with them so that every single one counts a number in turn, and then comes the counting lesson while using the toys and all these things we have mentioned (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsx_YrR9CmE).

Counting is part of math and it is the first stage the kids should take before they come to the part of learning to add, subtract, multiply and divide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfxsR6sv4jk). Once they reach the level of knowing how to perform these different mathematical operations, they then move to the other more critical equations and operations which they learn later on in their educational journey, but these are considered the basics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ART8iVG3yHg).

There are some other counting activities for kids which they could depend on to let the kids manage to count correctly and be good at the whole process. You could let your kids check this video in order to know some of these activities and let them learn to count the numbers in their right order (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wvSw8hoXPI).

One of the interesting techniques followed in teaching the kids to count is the nursery rhymes that is aimed at teaching the kids to count the numbers correctly, such as the "Five Little Monkeys" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6QCcRZK2yU), "Ten in a Bed" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZC_ScHpCg8), "Five Fat Sausages" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmRXia0yMgk) and lots of other songs and rhymes which are found out there and which will help the kids to count until a specific number.

Enjoy watching this video about learning to count from 1 to 20 and let the kids count along with the song. We will be waiting for your feedback regarding the effectiveness of the video and whether it helped the kids to learn the numbers and their order or else failed.

Let's count all from 1 to 20 and enjoy learning the lesson!
